Constructive criticism for constructive criticism?

I see a lot of people complaining that others can't take criticism,

But the same people seem to get upset and make excuses for themselves when someone points out that if they just worked on their approach, then they might have more of a solid chance of others listening to them.

And yeah, this is contextual,
I know there are still some people out there who refuse to listen to, or at least consider advice, no matter how tactful you are...

But I'm not talking about those cases

That stuff pisses me off. They can dish it but they can’t take it. Says a lot about their character, if you ask me.

@Ducky tbf tho,
There are some who do listen and gradually change their approach, (rarely happens overnight)

And they notice a difference 😅

Not everyone learns this at the same pace, lol

And with that being said, the person telling them that they need to change their approach also needs to be tactful

Generally my experience is that one gives constructive criticism, the other guy predictably shíts on his hand and throws it, missing the target, and the BoTh SiDeZ folk go «see! You can't take constructive criticism either»

@Elessar I mean, I have had experiences where I've attempted to give constructive criticism, but it's generally a lot better received when I have the right approach.

The trick for the most part is being approachable and non aggressive,
Allow them to ask questions the don't understand about the criticism etc...

Also rapport has a lot to do with it,
It's a lot harder if y'all strangers.

But yeah, what you said definitely happens too 😂
