Have you tried Meetup? It's a sight to meet people with your hobbies.

It worked for me.

Besides my Crossdressing I play dungeons and dragons with friends and my daughter the old fashion way in person and with paper and books, the younger generation have it all on their phones, tablets, or laptops, but we play in person with maps and miniature's.
