My MIL worked doing grunt work art filling in the art work on some of those early 'toons. These cartoonists well often well educated (hence, classical education references) and "subversive" ... lol. They snuck in as much as they could get away with. Bunch of stuff subliminally hidden, too. 😏

I really don't care. It's clear they're doing it for attention and it's getting attention. But obviously I'm not bothered by bisexual fictional characters.
