With weights I see the result instantly but sadly I don't stay pumped up like that and the improvements are incremental. If it is weight loss you are seeking then you might notice it in your clothes more than in the mirror. Before seeing anything though you will feel it. Feel proud of your decision and persistence to get there. Feel good that you are burning away some of those eating decisions.

Depends what you are doing, how intense you are doing it, how often, the part of the body. Along with that, everyone is different.

@ninja I've been doing light exercise and reducing my food intake. Not in a depressing, soul destroying way just not having anything interesting for lunch, chicken and pasta dinners and treats at the weekend. It's working really well I'm down nearly a stone and it's only been two weeks...

@ninjapuppy my lunch is now three rosemary breadsticks and an apple, and I only eat beef, lamb or pork at the weekends. You have to decide if it's worth it. It took me years and I only did this because I was getting uncomfortable in a suit for special occasions, and I like looking and feeling good in a suit!
