Living poor like I'm in the great depression. I live life the cheapest way I can. What can I say - it was in stilled in me. I was raised by the silent generation.
My mom and dad raised 4 girls through the Depression and WW2 - then I came along when the times got better (Charles III is 9 days older than me)... but my parents still lived like they did in those days for years after. Mom got her first electric stove and proper fridge a couple yrs before she passed on Christmas Day 1969.
