I think Canadian. Other than that no idea.

What I notice:
You sound a lot like me (raised in Mich., but lived a bit in California), but I notice:
• use of "y'all" (though this can be an affectation picked up from others, visiting the South, or simply using it as a distinguishable form of "you", plural)
• drawing out A's--seems to be a Midwestern / Southern thing
- long 'a' in "bagel"
- short 'a' in "bag", "batteries", 2nd form of "pecan"
- first 'a' in "caramel"
- "aw" sound in "dawn"
- "ah" sound in 1st form of "pecan"
• transforming the 'o' ending of "crayon" and "mirror" to more of a barely-there schwa sound or making the words a single syllable ("cray[uh]n" "mere[r]")
• "you guys", "didja", "gonna" are pretty common Americanisms.
So you have enough of the S thing that you could have been born and raised in a Midwestern state, a border state, or a cosmopolitan Southern city, but you are educated & well-read and might have a Southern parent.
I have not looked at the info from others.

Fun question. Assuming North America, your pronunciation sounds to me neutral enough to be hired as a newscaster in many U.S. areas. Also suggests to me that you've been working on dropping the parts of your younger "originalspeak" that you don't like anymore.
"Y'all and "all-y'all" have metastasized considerably, but I think they eliminate New England and NY, the PNW, the upper Midwest, the Southwest, the Great Lakes states and Canada;
"Crayon" sounds vaguely Kansan.
"Oil"? Not Texas.
Milk, lawyer, eggs, wash, syrup, oil, "did you eat", etc.--not the Deep South.
I'm going with these mid-Atlantic states: NC, VA, DC, MD, DE.

@Keziah18 Would you use the word "chimney" in a sentence please?
katydidnt · 61-69, F
@JohnnySpot I would, yes, if it were necessary to complete the sentence's meaning.
JohnnySpot · 56-60, M
@katydidnt I would bet that Santa Claus knows where she lives.
bijouxbroussard · F
I wouldn’t have thought south, except you say "ahnt" for aunt the way my southern parents did and "dij’eet", as well as "y’all" (although many people use it now). So I might think not so Deep South, or even Southwest.

I can't say anything too specific, but I am replying mainly so I will get notified of updates!
(I did live in North Carolina for a short time, and your accent is consistent with my memory of what I heard there.)
