Where do you think I’m from based on my accent?

I’m really curious where I sound like I’m from I’ve had people tell me multiple different things. I do use several words interchangeably so if I say more than one option that’s why. I’d really appreciate y’all giving my video a listen and letting me know what you think. Thanks

Word list - Drawer Oil Caught Car Theater Idea Bag Roof Route Pen Wash Crayon Casual athletic shoes? Mirror Pillow Caramel Coupon Orange Syrup Bagel Batteries Clothes Dawn Pecan Milk Eggs Aunt To address a group? Lawyer Data Been

Sentences - I didn’t do that! Did you eat? Pick up some milk from the store, please. I told you I wasn’t going to be late again. Can I get some ice in that?

Fun question. Assuming North America, your pronunciation sounds to me neutral enough to be hired as a newscaster in many U.S. areas. Also suggests to me that you've been working on dropping the parts of your younger "originalspeak" that you don't like anymore.

"Y'all and "all-y'all" have metastasized considerably, but I think they eliminate New England and NY, the PNW, the upper Midwest, the Southwest, the Great Lakes states and Canada;

"Crayon" sounds vaguely Kansan.

"Oil"? Not Texas.

Milk, lawyer, eggs, wash, syrup, oil, "did you eat", etc.--not the Deep South.

I'm going with these mid-Atlantic states: NC, VA, DC, MD, DE.

@katydidnt I have not yet ruled out the Great Lake states.

@Keziah18 Would you use the word "chimney" in a sentence please?
katydidnt · 61-69, F
@JohnnySpot I would, yes, if it were necessary to complete the sentence's meaning.

@katydidnt I would bet that Santa Claus knows where she lives.
