When I was in the Armed Forces undergoing one of the training courses and was sleeping in barracks. Each room had 4 men sleeping in them. One of my room mates was about 6'6". The army issue bunks we slept in were too short for him so he wore socks to bed because his feet stuck out from under his army blankets and out the end of his bed. It looked a bit funny but I guess it worked for him.

Depends on how cold it gets.. Usually I have a table cloth draped over the foot of my bed that I'll move up or down my legs as needed.

No I do not, but on extremely cold nights I place comforter on top of the blankets over the area where my feet will be at night.

That would drive me crazy. I have a window unit set at 60 in my bedroom and I rarely turn it off. My husband has adapted 😂
