@popmol I have found myself white water rafting in grade 4 rapids. When I fell in that river, and thought I would die, I lost composure for sure. The guy who came to get me in his jet ski probably cursed me the whole way to the boat. Lol
When I was 18 a guy I knew put a shotgun to my face, only a broken firing pin saved my life, a friend was with me and watched it, he said I didn't even flinch when the guy pulled the trigger and just gave the guy a stine cold glare, him and an accomplice got 25 years in prison each for attempted murder, this was backbin August 1988. Since then I vowed that if anyone ever attempted to pull a weapon on me ever again they'd regret it. When I was 31 in late 2001, my late ex fiancee's younger son pulled a knife on me, I got right in his face and demanded he use it on me before I took it away and used it on him, he went stone cold white with his eyes showing stark fear and he dropped it. He just turned 17, had about six inches on me and a brown belt in karate. He never pulled another knife on me ever again.
@popmol Maybe the police in Europe are more trustworthy, but the cops in America are no longer legally required ro protect and serve, and as we experienced in Uvalde, Texas, last year, they now take advantage of sitting on their asses doing nothing.

I should also add that two legged predators aren't the only ones that roam the streets.
