I have several of those types I won't watch - ANYTHING by Nicholas Sparks, Taking Chance, Hachi: A dog's Tale, among others. I have enough sadness in my life to invite more for no reason.

@FreddieUK In my experience, some who claim to be Christians are brutally honest, while some lie, and the same for athiests/agnostics. You never know what youre getting. I think it comes down the individual, not their religion. 🤷🏼‍♀ But that's just me.

@LadyBronte I think you are right all round. I was referring to specific occasions/periods when I was caught up people who were talking Christian language, but actually quite seriously engaging in immoral, or in one case illegal, activity. I realise that this is not unique to any particular philosophy, but I I suppose I hold some people to higher standards whether unfairly or not.
