Have you ever called the wrong number...

No, but I've answered or called back people who were trying to reach someone else. Those conversations have been both brief and pleasant, except once.

I have the same first and last name of someone who is, evidently, a liked and trusted veterinarian around here. One of those conversations was not brief, because the individual who was trying to reach her ended up asking me for advice about what to do.

No. But I did dial a wrong number. And a conversation DID start. I thought I was calling a new friend, a woman, in my apartment complex and we were going to an art museum/shop. When she didn’t reply. I asked, joking, “Don’t you love me any more?”

And the guy whose phone it actually was texted … “I don’t know you but you’re really f***ing up my birthday.”

I used to do that with ICQ, remember that app? You could pick a name and search and find people that were online, then say hello. Was kinda fun.

It happened with my mom once. she called to agency for passport but dial wrong number to a plumber and yelling when will I receive passport

LMAO NOO... But not to long ago when the Tennessee football team was playing and they won I texted who I THOUGHT was my Mom and told her they one but apparently I got the last 4 numbers of her phone number mixed up so whoever that was the knew Tennessee won that day LMAO!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Yes, why not? I have even answered calls I knew were not for me, gave conversation in spirit..
