Is Canada health care really free?

No its just basically like insurance

We pay way higher taxes and have to pay for bluecross as well. You still have to pay for equipment like casts and cruches.

When people say something should be free, they mean free at the point of service. We all know that nothing is really free, these services are paid for with taxes.

Nothing in life is free, you pay taxes for such a service, but because everybody pays a sum the individual cost is cheaper

No we pay high taxes for it to be "free"

So what if it is, or isn't? What's the point you're trying to make?
