Have you tried archery before? 🏹

I’ve won many local competitions in the past, but gave it up when I got to teenage years and suddenly found myself surrounded by a bunch of drunk midlife aged men who started commenting on my looks 🤷🏻‍♀️ There weren’t many people my age doing this sports in my area.

I would change the sight and get some new arrows but it looks good

My experience with archery in a nutshell:

Been shooting bow since I was a child. It's great fun. It looks like you have a pretty nice rig there. Enjoy.

I use a Matthews VCX33 compound bow with an 85 % let off set at 65 pounds. Its deer poison.

You truly may be the most interesting woman here. I mean that. You have incredible depth and a wonderful curiosity streak in you. You are never, ever boring and its not uncommon you surprise me when you reveal more about youself.

Regardless.. i have.. i took a class on college and loved it. Never had a backyard to shoot, so i just dropped it. Maybe ill try again. Still don't have a backyard though. Ha

Target practice, hunting or protection?

I did a class thing once, had a compound bow as a kid... list many arrows witth it. Id like to get another, theres a range thats pretty close and a bow seems like a very good thing to know how to use. Is that one sized and handed correctly for you?

Being that I love guns & going shooting, I've always wanted to get into archery because it's completely different. The "hit the target" idea is the same but everything else about archery is completely new to me so I really wanna learn soon

Archery is a lot of fun and takes a long time to perfect if that is even possible. I have no idea why but I am not nearly as accurate with a compound bow as I am with a simple recurve bow.

Just when I was a teenager with a simple wooden bow. It was fun. I lived by a sawmill with sawdust piles for target practice with bows and firearms. Plenty of empty oil cans for targets.

I've never used a power bow, but we did learn archery very briefly in high school. We used wooden bows. I was good at it.

How many pounds does it pull?

I started out last year with no clue what I was doing. Bought a compound bow that has a draw weight meant more for men. lol I am learning!
I now have a compound bow I can actually use and need more practice. I'd like to be able to learn to hunt with it.
Just bought a recurve bow that needs a string... it's used but beautiful!
I have a lot of fun just practicing for now. lol
