I adore rocks and minerals! I used to go to the rock and mineral shows and buy rough quartz or other cheap minerals like agate, and use them to make jewelry. I was an amateur lapidary.
I never got into this sort of mineral, because I was more interested in sculpting and jewelry and so on, but my brother had a beautiful collection of fluorescent rocks and minerals, and a black light!

It's beautiful, I love it!
I think I have something similar if not the same mineral in my collection.

@Starcrossed OH wow that's gorgeous! Much bigger than mine xD Yeah they grow in that botryoidal pattern that definitely could be the same thing. Is that quartz it's growing out of?

@MrBlueGuy pretty sure the white part is quartz, yeah.
This was a birthday present like a decade and a half ago. One of my first 'fancy' pieces.

So cool! I went to a gem expo in Tuscon earlier this year. That is beautiful! Copper is my favorite mineral. I’ve never heard of that!! Thank you for sharing.

I've never even seen one of those. That's quite the find
@TheLordOfHell Yeah in that form it looks like a carpet. They had other really cool specimems as well but they were like museum quality pieces and I wasn't willing to shell out thousands of dollars for some rocks xD
