I'm 46 and I don't know how much washing powder to use. I just put a scoop in.
It says on the box about light, normal and heavily soiled. How do I know how much I soil my clothes ?

@SW-User I've never soiled my pants except one time, I knew they was heavily soiled, it was quite apparent but for everyday washing how many scoops ?

suppose from another clueless male on this topic just use judgement if you think it needs more than usual . if it comes out not too your satisfaction you can always wash it again [scarfface]

It depends on how full your wash load is. Use a little if it's light.

@Spoiledbrat that's what I tend to do but I don't know what amount to add, I just go for medium all the time.

Light is if you wash after one yse, heavy is if you've worn them so long they smell or you have stains on them. (My personal opinion)

I'd go for normal 99% of the time.

If you wore your clothes just once or twice per item, and they are not too dirty or stained, then choose Normal on the machine dial. Id fill the scoop about 3/4 for powder , for onne large load.

@Elizabeth28 I've no clue how much I soil them, they never stink or have gunk on them, just a bit of dust, mud and such

You normally only need the light unless you're real tough on your clothes, dirt mud etc
