America should stay out of this, and the same for the rest of the world. They need to completely banned all sales to Russia and from Russia.
Bring Russia down and financially cripple them until they out putin

@nedkelly Except economic warfare is not staying out of anything.

Agreed but then they places tensions against our relationship with Russia. We already put holds on certain things

What he should do and what he is actually doing are two different things.
This is a NATO problem and like it or not we are apart of NATO.
Now having said that. NATO isn't getting involved either with troops!
NATO needs to get off it's collective rear ends! Sanctions are not going to work with anyone that isn't already in the sanctions game.
Economically Russia is independent of the world. They are not even a member of the IMF like China is.

@DeWayfarer No I am not. You are desperately trying to pretend otherwise.
I am sorry you can't handle facts that don't fit your opinion. Do some research.

The idiots currently in power in the US are the same people who demonized Putin during the entire Trump term. Kind of a scary situation. I have zero confidence in Biden or his administration. And that's sad.
I am so glad that Joe Biden is Comander-in-Chief. I prefer a President that looks down on Putin standing up; unlike the previous guy who looked up to him on his knees in closed door meetings.
zonavar68 · 51-55, M
@Aliveshock I just hope that Scotty from Marketing and Boris van Halen both toe that line too. As soon as one other country bites into the war it's ww3 and I don't think there will much reluctance to activate the nuclear weapons (I'm betting they already have been).
@zonavar68 Might as well have a man as a President to engage the other side.
Aren’t you glad that NATO is functioning?

@SW-User How about "Not one inch east of Berlin"?
Russia already brought everyone into it. The world has such a high population that everything is tied together. You can't pull one thread without disturbing the rest of the web.
And should putin be allowed to make war at his pleasure in hopes of trying to rebuild the USSR. Should China and Russia be able to invade weaker nations the US already has treaties to protect with their nuclear arsenal via the nuclear non-proliferation treaty where many nations agreed to give up their nuclear weapons programs in exchange for the US protecting them with theirs.
Most people don't like or want war. That is why this is so incorrigible. And why warmongers should be punished. Remember no one wanted this except putin. Even the Russian separatists in Ukraine are embarrassed over doing it this way. Over 1700 Russians have been arrested in 54 cities across Russia for opposing putin already.
First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out. Because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out. Because I was not a trade unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out. Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me and there was no one left to speak for me.
Sadly the US have acted as the world police for so long that if they become isolationist their allies will all turn on them because they abandoned them. And any enemy of the US would be free to invade with no betrayed allies lifting a finger to help. So putin has literally destablised the entire planet.

@Carissimi how did Trump keep Putin in his place? By conspiring with him and having his lips super glued to his ass? While running around bragging about having a "hot Russian wife" yea Trumpty sure did alot lmao all Trump did was get played like a damn fool by Putin,Kim Jong Un and China
Carissimi · 70-79, F
Did you notice how Putin invaded any country when Trump was President? The results speak for themselves. Putin saw how weak the US has become under Biden, who is more concerned with his military using proper pronouns than actual combat skills. @ExperienceDLT

They should probably avoid intervention, at least with direct military action. That's the way to nuclear engagement. But the pathetic capitalist sanctions are basically a token to loom like they're doing anything at all.
Overall, if it were realistic to do so they probably should defend their ally. But they won't because of future risk. That said though, it's well recorded what happened the last time a dictator started invading their neighbours...

No more war for USA. Fuck that.
4meAndyou · F
@TheunderdogofNY He will not involve us inside Ukraine. We are there ONLY to defend and protect NATO nations that border Ukraine.
TheunderdogofNY · 36-40, M
@4meAndyou Let's hope. Because after that Afghanistan pull out the last thing i can imagine service members want to do is go to war for this administration.
4meAndyou · F
@TheunderdogofNY Yup. Biden really screwed the pooch in Afghanistan. Whoever is telling him what to do is a moron.
zonavar68 · 51-55, M
He will because the USA as military economy is 100 percent dependent on oil and natural resources which is what (Ras)Putin is attempting to get via war with Ukraine.
I.n.t.e.l.l.i.g.e.n.c.e suggests that Miss V.i.k.i will act via N.a.t.o and Paula White will pray for peace.

Abuse of human rights?
Any Oil in the country? Gas? Yes? OK......let's see what we can do.
If not, sod the abuse of human rights. 😞

No. The US is not going to go to war over Ukraine. The likely situation is just more sanctions.
Amylynne · 26-30, F
we will not send troops. be sure of that.
4meAndyou · F
Biden can't open his mouth without a corrupt lie coming out. By "accountable" he means more financial sanctions. Our troops will not be sent into Ukraine.
DeluxedEdition · 26-30, F
I sure as fvvk hope not. Wtf does america have to do with it
