swirlie is under the impression (and probably you also) that the Boeing 777 is "20 years old in design technology".
The first Boeing 777 entered into service in 1995. Does this make the jet 30 years old in design technology? The Boeing 747 is still in service today even though it was rolled out 55 years ago in 1970 and stopped in 2023. Does the Boeing 747 flying today by UPS and Atlas Air, not to mention Air Force One, has old technology?
