I don’t even understand how, as a convicted felon, he was allowed to run. And because of him, our allies don’t trust us. And our enemies think we’re a joke. 😞
@bijouxbroussard When I was a boy. There was an American patriotic announcement or song or wherever you want to call it, that Stated that the US would be better off if America said "TO HELL WITH THE REST OF THE WORLD."
@Slicker24 I know people who still feel that way. But considering what percentage of our population here have roots in other countries, I don’t know why.
Active isolationism might’ve saved our indigenous population from being colonized; it makes little sense now. 🤔
Absolutely. The DOGE cuts are fantastic and need to continue and expand. Illegal immigration is at a level that surprises me. He's far exceeding expectations there. Deportations are showing the country just how much the democrats hate the country. They'll support illegals before citizens and they're proving it every day. Inflation continues to drop. Investment continues to pour in.
No, I'm deeply disappointed by the Tяump admin so far. He's broken his promises to end wars and lower prices. The rest of this comment is an economic comparison in answer to "Guidance Counselor."
so you slept through the disasters of clinton, obama, and biden. Coma?
DUUUDE!!! Let's look at the numbers!!
JOB CREATION Reagan 16.5 million Clinton 18.6 million Bush 5.8 million Obama 8.9 million Trump NEGATIVE 3 million

I'm gonna argue that the most important economic stat involves employment/unemployment. Interesting how unemployment almost always increases under republicans, isn't it?
Job growth red vs blue
GDP growth red vs blue
For the first time in literally GENERATIONS, real wages are growing for the lower quintile of US workers. And they're growing FASTER under Biden than they did under Obama or Trump. For the first time in GENERATIONS, the lower half of workers are sharing in our economic growth!
There are more than 5,000,000 (FIVE MILLION) more people employed now than during the peak under Trump. Just read the graph.
And the number unemployed is historically low!
Inflation? The pandemic deflation was followed by worldwide inflation; that is now gone.
Since Ms @quesswhat has politely asked me to withhold further comment of my own composition, I think the appropriate thing to do would be to reproduce the comments of the many cabinet members who worked side by side with tRump for YEARS during his first term.
Richard Spencer, Secretary of the Navy “The president has very little understanding of what it means to be in the military, to fight ethically or to be governed by a uniform set of rules and practices.” — Nov. 27, 2019
H.R. McMaster,White House national security adviser “President Trump and other officials have repeatedly compromised our principles in pursuit of partisan advantage and personal gain.” — Jan. 7, 2021
James Mattis, Secretary of Defense “Donald Trump is the first president in my lifetime who does not try to unite the American people — does not even pretend to try. Instead, he tries to divide us. We are witnessing the consequences of three years of this deliberate effort. We are witnessing the consequences of three years without mature leadership. We can unite without him, drawing on the strengths inherent in our civil society.” — June 3, 2020
Mark Esper, Secretary of Defense “I have a lot of concerns about Donald Trump. I have said that he’s a threat to democracy. I think the last year, certainly the last few months of Donald Trump’s presidency, will look like the first few months of the next one if that were to occur.” — Oct. 1, 2023
John Kelly, White House chief of staff from July 28, 2017, to Jan 2, 2019, and secretary of Homeland Security from Jan. 20, 2017, to July 31, 2017. He is a retired four-star Marine Corps general who was hired to bring order to the White House. “A person who admires autocrats and murderous dictators. A person that has nothing but contempt for our democratic institutions, our Constitution and the rule of law.” — Oct. 2, 2023
Rex Tillerson, Secretary of State “M0ron” — July 20, 2017
William Barr, Attorney general “The fact of the matter is he is a consummate narcissist and he constantly engages in reckless conduct that puts his political followers at risk and the conservative and Republican agenda at risk. … He will always put his own interest and gratifying his own ego ahead of everything else, including the country’s interest. There’s no question about it. … He’s like a 9-year-old, a defiant 9-year-old kid, who’s always pushing the glass toward the edge of the table defying his parents to stop him from doing it.” — June 18, 2023
John Bolton, White House national security adviser “By the time I left the White House, I was convinced he was not fit to be president. … I think it is a danger for the United States if he gets a second term.” — June 22, 2023
Mike Pompeo, Secretary of State “We need more seriousness, less noise, and leaders who are looking forward, not staring in the rearview mirror claiming victimhood.” — Nov. 15, 2022
Mike Pence, Vice president “He asked me to put him over the Constitution and I chose the Constitution, and I always will.” — Aug. 23, 2023
Nikki Haley, U.N. ambassador “He went down a path he shouldn’t have, and we shouldn’t have followed him and we shouldn’t have listened to him. And we can’t let that ever happen again.” — Jan. 8, 2021
Full John Kelly quote “What can I add that has not already been said? A person that thinks those who defend their country in uniform, or are shot down or seriously wounded in combat, or spend years being tortured as POWs are all ‘suckers’ because ‘there is nothing in it for them.’ A person that did not want to be seen in the presence of military amputees because ‘it doesn’t look good for me.’ A person who demonstrated open contempt for a Gold Star family – for all Gold Star families – on TV during the 2016 campaign, and rants that our most precious heroes who gave their lives in America’s defense are ‘losers’ and wouldn’t visit their graves in France."
"A person who is not truthful regarding his position on the protection of unborn life, on women, on minorities, on evangelical Christians, on Jews, on working men and women. A person that has no idea what America stands for and has no idea what America is all about. A person who cavalierly suggests that a selfless warrior who has served his country for 40 years in peacetime and war should lose his life for treason – in expectation that someone will take action. A person who admires autocrats and murderous dictators. A person that has nothing but contempt for our democratic institutions, our Constitution, and the rule of law."
“There is nothing more that can be said,” Kelly concluded. “God help us.” — Mon October 2, 2023
Absolutely! They are faced with the monumental task of undoing the damage inflicted on this country by 4 years of an illegitimate, America-hating, criminal regime, and continuing opposition from those working to destroy this country, and in spite of all that, they are doing a great job.
@nudistsueaz 😂 Typical emotionally impulsive liberal. Without thinking, says anything just to say something and has both feet in his mouth and still won't shut up for his own good. Gawd these people are too easy.
Not at all, but he's done more positive things than I would've expected. Doesn't outweigh all his disastrous choices with DOGE cuts, the BBB, tariffs, alienating allies, cowering to Putin, appointing unqualified sycophants to his cabinet, pardoning crooks and violent insurrectionists, and wasting billions of taxpayer money on mass deportations (though I am happy that at least a small percentage of those arrested are violent criminals)
@TinyViolins Well, keeping trans people out of women's sports is not something to be proud of, as the problem was barely noticeable.
Getting egg prices down was nothing to do with him. The USDA said it was caused by decreased demand (caused by people getting tired of high prices) and fewer cases of avian flu.
And as for calling out South Africa for its treatment of white farmers...I'm sorry but that is out and out lying.
@iamthe99 As a South African I’m glad he called out our president for the treatment of white farmers. It raises awareness toward the whole world of the inefficiency of the corrupt government in SA. It’s not out and out lying.
@iamthe99 Nearly every poll conducted shows that a majority of people don't want trans people competing in women's sports, including a majority of Democrats and women. Sure, there are bigger problems in the world, but you're picking a losing fight if you actually want to justify letting biological men compete in women's athletics.
The USDA, which falls under the Trump administration, also increased imports of eggs from various different countries to help reduce egg prices. And yes, weaker demand and lower exports also played a role, but it wasn't the only factor
I am very happy with the way he is trying to clean up the nutjob Democrat/Socialist/Marxist mess...but he is embattled. Ukraine, Iran, insane protesters who are being PAID to protest and disrupt...way too much to handle in four short years.
Very, very happy. He is the most honest with people than any other president and I would put Reagan second. Liberals, socialists and wimps hate him as they cannot handle the truth and someone with his confidence as they lack honesty and ability to stand up for others and their own country. The career politicians hate him as he is interfering with their ability to take bribes from lobbyists and other countries.
If you do not like what I have stated then look in the mirror as you must be a crook or a wimpy liberal.
American conservative here. Like : illegal immigration reduction, deregulation / tax cuts, streamlining gov't Dislike : plan 2025, need more global diplomacy (not less), spend more time (not less) on negotiating stronger trade agreements, avoid deepening political division
