With all due respect, there was a potential Peace plan when Biden and Johnson were in power. They chose not to follow through. There have been other possibilities but for whatever reasons, probably many, they fell through. All that said. I think, don’t know the mineral deal (attach) may well be a significant step toward a peace deal where both Ukraine and Russia benefit. I could be mistaken but I think there may be many behind closed doors agreements we know nothing about that hopefully ends with a peace agreement.

It's not as simple as the Ukrainians want to present it.It is not just a big bully picking on some little kid. About 1/5 maybe a little less of the population of Ukraine is ethically Russian. Their families have lived in the area for hundreds of years.
Should Donald Trump have known this before making such a fool-hearted statement. Of course he should. I do think it is best that he wash his hands with the whole situation and not mess with what basically is a border war.

If Ukraine hadn't been so hell bent on joining NATO, being pushed to do so by the EC and the US, Russia would never have invaded them. Mark my words, the war will end when there is an iron clad agreement that Ukraine WILL NOT join NATO.
There is only one person that can stop that war and it is Vlad The Mad, Vladimirovitch Putin. Ukraine is merely defending itself. Trump just wants The Peace Prize. 🙄

@walabby The Russia you imagine is 4th tire citizens in the jungle. If you go today to Moscow only 30-40 of population is affected. You are an outcast in Russia if you are not from a city.
@Slicker24 'default mode' means that he has to make a deliberate and wilful effort to stop lying - after which his deception/corruption mode automatically resets.
But it's OK - apparently americans are just fine with that.
