@specman
Maybe he’ll finish what he started
@Torsten If you think that was crazy, you should have seen how the Trump fluffers reacted when their orange lord and savior was voted out in 2020.
Torsten · 36-40, M
@LeopoldBloom i did and it was nothing compared to 2016 and the 4 years that followed

This post won't age well. Trump may not even make it as far as the election.

@pdockal With regard to gas prices this was before OPEC cut production 6% in 2022 and the embargo on Russian oil and gas. Without the quick action by the Biden administration gas prices in the US would be much higher and Europe would be at a complete standstill. No way would Trump's administration have reacted as wisely.
Tastyfrzz · 61-69, M
@pdockal The spike in inflation in the United States, particularly noticeable in the years following the COVID-19 pandemic, was caused by a combination of several factors:

1. **Supply Chain Disruptions**: The pandemic caused significant disruptions in global supply chains. Factory shutdowns, transportation issues, and labor shortages all contributed to delays and shortages of goods, which drove up prices.

2. **Pent-Up Demand**: During the height of the pandemic, many people reduced their spending due to lockdowns and economic uncertainty. As restrictions eased and confidence returned, there was a surge in demand for goods and services, putting upward pressure on prices. There was also a higher demand at home. Remember the toilet paper shortages when demand outstripped supply? Frozen food shelves were emptied overnight as people could not eat out. The lack of basic medical supplies like gloves and masjs? That was during Trump because he did not follow the suggestions of the Obama Administration’s pandemic preparedness plan. Then the Trump damily tried to capitalize on the Covid testing!

3. **Government Stimulus**: The U.S. government implemented several rounds of fiscal stimulus, including direct payments to individuals, enhanced unemployment benefits, and support for businesses. This increased the amount of money in circulation and boosted consumer spending.

4. **Labor Market Dynamics**: Labor shortages in various sectors, partly due to health concerns, early retirements, and changes in worker preferences, led to higher wages. Businesses often passed these increased labor costs onto consumers in the form of higher prices.

5. **Energy Prices**: Fluctuations in oil and gas prices also contributed to inflation. Energy costs impact the prices of goods and services broadly, given their role in production and transportation.

6. **Monetary Policy**: The Federal Reserve's policies, including maintaining low interest rates and continuing asset purchases, increased liquidity in the economy. While intended to support economic recovery, these measures also contributed to inflationary pressures.

These factors combined to create a situation where demand outstripped supply in many areas, leading to higher prices across a range of goods and services. It's important to note that inflation can be influenced by a complex interplay of domestic and global factors, and the situation can evolve over time.

Right about now, the funk soul brother, check it out now

Didn't y'all also vote for Trump in 2020?
@specman 1) All the studies so far show the opposite is true, that it was not rigged, even the studies that were very pro Republican before starting the study and that Trump got more help than Biden from the illegal activities that they did find.

2) Assume the lie is true and it was rigged, of Trump couldn't stop it as President, how is he going to stop it as a felon citizen?
specman · 51-55, M
@sstronaut Trump is the favored candidate.
As far as the rigged election goes their finding new items pieces here and there where agencies are weaponized against citizens especially conservatives. Even google admitted that all of its data that it finds for searches are left leaning to the point of shunning results from some conservative biased sources.
@specman And Hillary was the favorited candidate, clearly that means nothing.

As far as the actual election goes, the investigation found more incorrect items that helped Trump than hurt Trump.

It's not rigged, it's just sour grapes and cry baby syndrome. Hillary assumed she couldn't lose against Obama, and relaxed, and lost. Same thing happened to Hillary against Trump. And Trump did for Biden.

Only difference is Trump can't handle it.

Let's not forget Trump claimed the 2016 Republican Iowa caucus was rigged when he didn't win...

Just a cry baby
How many times do you plan on voting for him?
TexChik · F
@MistyCee If I were a lib, 5-6 times and several different states. Even the dead may vote for Trump this time around.
@SamInAZ Same as the number of nipples you have?
PatKirby · M
@MistyCee

Let's not forget absentee ballots in the middle of the nite!

Miklee02 · 51-55, F
🇺🇸✌️
Morvoren · F
And the left are going vote for the other guy. 🤷🏼‍♀️

So what?
SamInAZ · 41-45, M
@Morvoren A lot of them are saying they won't vote for Biden.
Morvoren · F
@SamInAZ Tha A not the point I’m making, you aren’t going to put people off voting the way they vote by telling them you’re voting the other way. Nobody cares.

I’m painting the hall teal. Doesn’t mean you can’t paint yours pink. You tuss.

We all know you're a fully paid up MAGA cult member. We also all know that no matter what happens, you will be voting Trump.

We also know that the MAGA cultists do not have the numbers to put Trump in the White House.

NO ONE else will be voting Trump.

And there is nothing you can do about it. Prepare to relive Election Night 2020. 😆
DocSavage · M
Not something you should brag about.
Zaphod42 · 51-55, M
Yep, and the rest of the country will be exercising our constitutional right to vote as well. See you in November 😉
daisymay · 51-55, T
You skipped an important election year. Why is that?

@SamInAZ You probably think Trump won in 2020, too.

@eli1601 There is no evidence that she wrote anything of the sort. The badly spelled badly punctuated nature of the meme tells you all you need to know about its “authenticity” 🙄

Without voter ID fraud is inevitable
@pdockal Except there is almost no in-person voter fraud. But I would support issuing a free federal ID card to all eligible citizens for voting.
pdockal · 56-60, M
@LeopoldBloom

With out IDs required you can't say one way or the other 100% that fraud on either side doesn't exist

You don't need anther form of IDs
Every state has drivers licenses and i know my state has non driver IDs

And please don't use that's discrimination to require IDs to vote as EVERYONE has the same ability to get the necessary IDs unless they are undocumented which should preclude them from voting anyway

Make it a national holiday to vote so MOST people can't use working as an excuse
Provide shuttle busses for those who can't drive etc
Stop mail in ballads unless I'm extreme situations which you must prove
@pdockal You can't claim fraud doesn't happen. When it does, it's usually someone registered in two places. The theory that millions of illegal voters are swaying elections is too stupid for words. No one ever explains how these voters are recruited, who checks to make sure they vote the way they were supposed to, and how they keep the ones who don't want to participate from going to the police.

Not everyone has a current state ID. Many people have expired ID. Would you allow that to be used?

Mail in voting and voting in advance have worked well in both red and blue states. You can't have a holiday because not everyone will be able to take off work, like nurses, police officers, etc.

We need to make it easier to vote, not harder.

@DocSavage Oh, don't worry, when Twitler loses again and drags the other Republicans down with him, his cult will scream about the stolen election even more loudly than they did in 2020.

@DocSavage The theory is that it's valid because it supposedly was posted before the verdict, although why we're hearing about it only now is suspicious. But even if it was posted in advance, we don't know who the juror is or even if the "cousin" is related to one.

Trump was either going to be guilty or not guilty. I saw plenty of posts before the verdict saying he'd be found not guilty, so if that had happened, would that have been evidence of jury tampering?
