I can not fathom why a person would set themselves on fire.
They must know the pain would be unbearable. They must know death is a high probability.
They must know that if they survive there will be months and months of pain.
They must know that if they survive disfigurement will be permanent and ghastly.

Canada, Switzerland, and Australia have approximately twice that number of mental health workers.....so we have a shortage of healthcare workers, doctors, nurses. Not good!
The United States ranks 29th in the world in prevalence of depressive disorders, with a rate of about 5%, or about 15 million Americans, estimated to have some form of depression. It is the largest country on the top 30 list of countries with the highest depression rates.
For 'the richest country in the world' the US falls short in many areas of importance to citizens.

@JSul3 Because I dig data what I came across is 268 mental health providers per 100K people in the U.S. And what is mental health? Does being manipulated to believe in lies count? If so, I could point to most any hardcore MAGA as suffering from mental health issues. Sometimes people go off the deep end. And there's a lot of reasons for it. Maybe it's mental health but maybe it's other things. The upside here is that he decided to take himself out instead of a lot of innocent people. I'm not being cold and heartless about this. But the knee jerk 'mental health' argument is the immediate go to on a host of issues. Maybe it was in this case. And if had anyone around him who was decent and sane, I'm very sure they encouraged him to talk to someone. But you can only lead a horse to water...you know?

In the olden days in many nations they used to have places called mental asylums where people with mental problems like that where housed and taken care of.. But woke activists pushed the line that Mental asylums where evil prisons for those poor special people and that the whole system needed to be shut down and the patients liberated to live happy ever after out in the community..
Well the governments liked that idea because it would save them a lot of money in closing all the mental asylums and sacking all the specialists..
So the wokeist patted themselves on the back and the vulnerable where thrown out onto the pavement to fend for themselves and some of them from time to time get guns and knives and run around shopping malls or theaters carrying out mass killings or they watch main stream media and end up living in fear of trump so much so that they go and torch themselves because their warped minds cannot think of something else to do to make some kind of point to no one..
