People don't know what a dictator is anymore. Even Nazi Germany needed to implement the Enabling Act to become a dictatorship. Trump would need to shut down congress to do so. Him joking about only being a dictator on day one is just him being his usual self.

@ElleryQueen Huh? I'm not quite getting your point here. I guess the only thing I can say is that the EV issue really doesn't have anything to do with Biden. He's promoting it (and unnecessarily incentivizing it) because he's into green tech, but the EV Revolution is going to happen despite politics. It's about ecoonomics.

@Zaphod42 Well when he said it the crowd cheered. Of course the crowd was packed with his supporters. Anyway I think Trump will be saying more stuff like that and I hope he does because it will be more proof for Jack Smith that Trump wasn’t beyond using his presidential powers to overturn the 2020 election results. @Carla Its the "burning down" and the idea of repealing without regard for replacing with something better that bothers me.
I get where there's short term profit and advantage to be gained from chaos, but in the long term, it doesnt seem viable devalue things like honesty, respect for others and the institutions we've developed just for a few quick bucks, revenge or ego gratification.

@Handfull1 It is scary. Sometimes I use humor to make things seem less scary. So I thought up this joke. On his first day in the WH – Trump will stand on a WH balcony that over looks his subjects and he will say - I hereby decree that from this day forward Washington apples will be know as Donald J Trump apples.
