Do you think its true that once a dictator always a dictator?

At a town hall yesterday Sean Hannity asked Trump about the media saying he would be a dictator if he returned to the Oval Office. Trump initially shied away from responding, but when asked a second time he said he would only be a dictator on the first day of his second term.

I think that is the biggest lie Trump ever told because he is likely planning on being a dictator for ever if he gets back in the WH. Cheers!

There's sort of a ring of truth or a hint of self awareness there, though.

Trump would probably fare no better as a dictator than he did as a businessman or first term President.

@MistyCee but he has the bannons and millers of his world. If people think biden is so much a puppet, look who was behind trumps entry into politics.
@Carla True, but his "puppet hood" is a different issue than his basic fraudulent sociopathic nature.

@MistyCee also true.
Without that nature though, he wouldn't have been developed.
He was always in it for himself. Perfect for those that wish to burn it all down.
@Carla Its the "burning down" and the idea of repealing without regard for replacing with something better that bothers me.

I get where there's short term profit and advantage to be gained from chaos, but in the long term, it doesnt seem viable devalue things like honesty, respect for others and the institutions we've developed just for a few quick bucks, revenge or ego gratification.
