I have found that the vast majority of people who love Trump are completely incapable of rational discourse. They can only say things like "Trump made the US great again" or "things were better off when he was president" but they are completely unable to provide any details or any facts that support their beliefs.
@specman They do, of course. The DOJ and AG often intervene on behalf of the president. In fact, Bill Barr functioned as Trump's personal attorney and protector during his presidency. And the DOJ often prosecutes federal employees, which is why Trump is under 91 federal criminal indictments. So they aren't trying to keep corruption from being exposed. The Biden DOJ sided with Trump on the E. Jean Carroll case that he lost and consequently was labelled a sexual abuser.
@windinhishair Nobody's talking about Trump. Besides people have to realize something, Just because Trump does or says something it doesn't mean it is right or that it even should of happened.
Why on earth would people respond with rational discourse? His entire point is to be inflammatory. Like if he was calm quiet and well-spoken he wouldn't be Trump.
Reminder that you complained leftists are incapable of rational conversation and you're showing me pornographic shock memes to try and trigger me or something.
Grow up nobody wants to talk seriously without because you're a misinformed dipshits who just rants about hating shit you hasn't done cursory investigation into. You may as well be a 70 year old man saying video games cause violence.
@CountScrofula Exactly! Quad Indicted is unable to engage in rational debate because he’s quite stupid and simply makes stuff up (I.e. lies). In any debate, QI simply tries to out shout, talk over, and divert the conversation because he knows nothing about the facts, issues, and even general knowledge that a high school student understands.
You have to love it when he’s allowed to speak because he broadcasts his ignorance and lies for the whole world to see—and he doesn’t even realize that that is what he is doing!
Inject yourself with bleach, anyone? Windmills give you cancer? Nuke hurricanes? How can anyone take him seriously?
It's so much easier and lazier to listen to what other people say about a topic rather than actually take the time to think for yourself. That's called an echo chamber.
You have to admit, the left leaning globalists have done a good job dividing the country. How dare someone focus on what’s good for Americans. That’s so….1950’s.
The only people who still support Trump are either terribly confused or openly white supremacists. I feel no need for discourse with them, rational or otherwise. There’s no reasoning with Klansmen, and I block them immediately. 😡
thats because he broke them. They havent been able to form rational thought since he announced he was running for president and sadly no cure has been found as of yet
Gas prices are down to $3.23 here, from a astounding high of $1.82
And all it took for the Trump admin to lower gas prices to $1.82 that far was the elimination of 22,000,000 (twenty two million) jobs by botching the pandemic so terribly. There was also the collateral damage of hundreds of thousands of excess deaths, but I guess sunstroke considers all that damage worthwhile because gas prices went low.
All through Trump's term, our Covid per capita death rate was DOUBLE that of countries like Canada & Germany, resulting in about 550,000 Covid deaths under Trump.
If Trump had handled Covid as well as, say, Justin Trudeau, we'd have had 275,000 FEWER DEATHS! Put another way, Trump's mis-management of Covid cost more deaths than THREE Viet Nam wars!! Three Viet Nams in a SINGLE YEAR, not spread out over ten years like the actual war!!!
Sure, Covid came from outside. And different leaders in different countries managed it differently. Trump's piss-poor Covid management is made clear by the relative per capita death rates.
"I look at it this way," Birx told CNN's Chief Medical Correspondent Sanjay Gupta. "The first time, we have an excuse. There were about 100,000 deaths that came from that original surge. All of the rest of them, in my mind, could have been mitigated or decreased substantially."
It isn't easy to have rational discourse without some agreement about what the facts are, or at least how to establish what they are likely to be. And without agreement about what "rational" even looks like. And those are difficult agreements to get to between those of us who do not like Trump, and those who do.
The last thing they want is a discussion, because they know they have nothing intelligent to contribute. They are programmed to hate, blindly and without reason. Those who support President Trump can give lots of reasons for doing so, as well as many reasons to despise the O'Biden regime. The brainwashed souls wishing death to Trump and his supporters have nothing but their hate, and lame insults.
I usually see that people that support Trump are unable to play this simple game.
It's called !!! Spot the Trump Miracle !!!
Here's ten years of job creation data. Ignore the drop of 22 million jobs when the pandemic started and concentrate on how job creation changed starting in Dec 2017 when Trump introduced his trillion dollar tax cut.
Can you "Spot the Trump miracle"? Do you see any change in jobs? Do you see any difference whatsoever between job creation rates under Obama and Trump?
Here's monthly rate of job growth in thousands; it's effectively the derivative of the above; it would show any changes in rate of job growth if changes had occurred. See any "Trump miracle"? Me neither!
@Bluebirdsonmyshoulder i can also say you can make a perfectly legitimate criticism off trump dislike him or not and trying reasonable debate, but you get a barrage of personal insults and childish name calling one in particular who will remain nameless so it is not all one sided you know .the topic on similar worlds involving trump seems too bring the worst out in some people
Because people who still support Trump are too chickenshit to admit that they only like him because he makes Liberals angry. How are we supposed to have rational discourse with these people? They'll say the economy was great under Trump, we'll point out that Trump destroyed Obama's economy, then they'll just change the subject by bringing up a conspiracy theory. They don't believe any of the points they make, they don't believe in truth as a concept.
My experience is quite the opposite. The Quad Indicted supporters around here are full of rage, repeat his lies and misinformation, and are incapable of rational discourse. Perhaps, deep down, they realize that backing him is not patriotic, Christian, or intelligent.
