CNN Sues Trump For Violating Its First Amendment Right To Fabricate News

In the latest wave of legal turmoil enveloping the nation's capital, cable network CNN sued the Trump administration for allegedly violating its First Amendment rights to fabricate the news.

CNN, MSNOW, and Politico expressed outrage after President Donald Trump expelled the outlets from the White House, arguing that his administration was denying them their constitutional rights to make things up and report them as facts.

"He has no right to keep us from making things up," said CNN personality Kaitlan Collins. "It is the right — and indeed the duty — of major news outlets in the United States to carefully fabricate false narratives to undermine Trump's leadership and foment anger and fear among the populace. How are we supposed to erode confidence in the administration if we're not allowed to spread fake news? Our rights are being violated."

Trump remained defiant in response to heavy criticism of his decision. "They're just a bunch of losers," he told the remaining reporters in the Oval Office. "They have always been very unkind to me. Very unkind. But now, they'll have to be unkind outside, because I won't let them into the White House. Kaitlan Collins. Have you seen her? Not very attractive, sadly. At publishing time, a spokesperson for CNN's legal department said the network hoped to reach a resolution quickly and be back reporting blatant falsehoods from the White House press pool as soon as possible.
