@sunsporter1649 Strange how the world bully (USA) has never attacked NK since NK announced that it had nukes.

@hippyjoe1955 Chinese geologists say North Korea's main nuclear testing site has collapsed under the stress of five successive bomb tests.

A mountain above the notorious facility has collapsed, a study found, rendering it unsafe for future testing and presenting a serious risk of radiation leaking.

The paper's authors, Tian Dongdong, Yao Jiawen and Wen Lianxing, urged that authorities "continue to monitor any leakage of radioactive materials" in view of the "research finding that the North Korea nuclear test site at Mantapsan has collapsed".

The findings follow an announcement by President Kim Jong Un that North Korea would cease activity on its weapons testing programme.

U.S. Patriots are onboard
@ChristinaNks Congrats on your appeal to purity fallacy!!

BTW, I think it's really revealing to see how conservatives define 'Woke' when they're under oath:

The poster disputed by saying the American people are not on board with what's going on.

The American people are indeed not on board with what's going on in Iran. What are you pointing out that is different?
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@ChristinaNks I thought american patriots obey and defendthe Constitution, but you're saying they're required to obey and defend King Donald.

How easy it was to destroy america's democracy!

How eagerly 'patriots' replaced tolerance and understanding with false fears and self-interest!

And IMO firmly puts him into the same camp as the infamous sneak attack on pearl harbour by the Japanese
... Infamy that eventually led to their downfall....

Most people in the world just want to lead normal lives and live peacefully.

And for that to happen, most people in the world, mine and yours, have to care about the cost and be responsible enough to wish to decrease it.

It is a universal truth.

@MoveAlong trump makes it up as he goes along. Claims the military has obliterated Iran's missile sites, yet Iran lobs missile after missile into Israel every night.

Pure evil with the right to vote!

I agree. I voted for the bastard. I still can't get over how I stepped on dogshit with my eyes wide open.
@sree251 it was not hard to spot that Trump's extremely pro war and has never once expressed any coherent political position against any wars. When he talked about ending the endless wars, he also said that Venezuela was near collapse when he was president the first time, and we were going to take it and all that oil. Coherent politicians were running.
Picklebobble2 · 61-69, M
Trump knows carpet bombing is easy and he has no problem taking (whatever passes for 'intelligence' out there) such action as long as it plays well in whatever polls he's been told to follow.
No matter how many apartment blocks his (or maybe Netanyahu's) missiles hit.

He made that stupid statement trying to encourage the population to 'rise up', and when people did he didn't follow through with support and as a result protesters have been arrested; beaten to death on the streets or taken away from their families presumably to be tortured for information (a familiar step in the Iranian crackdown on dissent playbook) Never to be seen again.

Any way you slice it for every 'positive' from this decision there seems to be ten 'negatives'.
And those of you that follow history will be aware that we're probably about to see a return to the old days of 'terrorist cells' infiltrating allies in the region if not far closer to home.

Well said.

He usually skates by on most issues because his base won't speak up even when they don't agree with him. This is a little different. This fool's errand is affecting every family very obviously and in real time.
Musicman · 61-69, M
Actually you are sadly mistaken. Can you honestly tell me you would feel safe if Iran had nuclear capabilities? And that you are happy with the 90,000 civilian's they killed just for protesting the regime?
sree251 · 41-45, M
@Musicman
How safe would you feel if Iran had nuclear capabilities???

I would feel as safe if a cobra has venom and a bee can sting. Don't mess with them and kick them around the way we Americans are wont to do.
Musicman · 61-69, M
@sree251 I'm sorry it took so long for Obama to reply to your email telling you what to say. All I asked for was your honest opinion and sadly you can't form your own opinion. I think it's time we part company. I truly feel bad for you.

@fanuc2013 You are right. Most dont know the details or rationale behind Trump decisions. Its really all about finding an excuse to delay or cancel the mid term elections. Sending ICE to states with no migrant issues, instead of say Texas or Florida, to disrupt lives and shoot people in the street didnt work.. And having failed Noem was fired. So now he is going all in creating a war out of nothing that hasnt been there for a decade and is planning to actually put American forces to death by placing them in the sights of Iranians. This is how Trump and MAGA keep power and dont get decimated in November..😷

You must be miserable when you can't find something to cry about.

But all that has to happen for evil to triumph is for good people to do NOTHING. To be clear, saying you are not on board, or he is not my President is not enough to stop someone brandishing his own reality..😷

Do you mean the Gulf monarchs? Like Americans, the Arabs have nothing to do with their respective regime-led governments.

...and hookers peed on a bed in moscow, and hunters laptop is ruskie disinformation, and "less than 100" American citizens were abandoned to raghead terrorists, and President Trump loves dictators, and Joe Rogan said he’s not voting for Trump, and The Constitution ‘clearly states that a felon cannot take elective office’, and Melania Trump said she wants a divorce, and the bordes are secure, and biden is as sharp as a tack, and iran wants nukes to power their country, and the planet is cooling, and the planet is warming, and the planet is undergoing climate change, and there was plenty of water in LA, and boys are really girls, and 140 officers were assaulted on January 6, and pelosi never rejected National Guard troops before Jan 6, and the Biden Administration did not spend millions on “making mice transgender.”, and Gen. Colin Powell’s name has been removed from a list of notable Americans buried at Arlington Cemetery, and “no president” presided over more plane crashes during their first month in office as President Trump, and that ICE agents had conducted a “raid” at an elementary school, and Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., is “anti-vaccine” and President Trump “took down” President Obama’s portrait in the White House, and epstein introduced Trump to Melenia, and Vice President Vance “disparaged Elon Musk in private”, and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth requested nearly $140,000 in “upgrades” to his government residence, and President Trump was alone in wearing a blue suit to the funeral of Pope Francis, an American citizen was detained by authorities after he informed them he was, in fact, a citizen, and DOGE operatives attempted to gain access to secure spaces, and Harris would be among the most qualified presidents in recent U.S. history, diddy will be pardoned by Trump, and thomas crooks was a Republican....

You've described the weak point - the lack of explanation - so does no-one question that?

@ElwoodBlues
The are American members of our American House of Representatives who had the temerity to challenge the wisdom of tRump's attack on Iran.

There are no American House of Representatives. There is a US House of Representatives.
@sree251 I edited and fixed my error.

@sunsporter1649 I bet tRump WISHES he could have made as good a deal with Iran as Obama made!!

The Obama admin secured an agreement, formally known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, or JCPOA, that was signed in 2015 by the United States and Iran as well as China, Russia, France, Germany and the United Kingdom.

Under the deal, Iran agreed not to pursue nuclear weapons and to allow continuous monitoring of its compliance in exchange for relief from economic sanctions.

The monitoring plan under Obama was a rigorous technical inspection regime of Iran's facilities. Key parts of the inspection instrumentation were implemented and verified by Obama's Energy Secretary, an MIT nuclear physicist named Dr Ernest Moniz. Moniz's system could identify traces (secondary radioactivity) left by radioactive materials even after they had been moved.

It was Obama's inspection deal that halted Iran's uranium enrichment program in exchange for relaxed sanctions.

Moniz's technical inspection regime was a major part of what tRump blew up. Without the Obama deal, Iran immediately restarted their UF6 centrifuge uranium enrichment program.

It was the failure of tRump to "make a better deal" that forced tRump to drop bunker buster bombs on Iran's uranium enrichment program.

"Iran's Nuclear Facilities Have Been Obliterated — and Suggestions Otherwise are Fake News"
Source: The White House. Date: June 25, 2025

It was the failure of that bombing campaign that caused "no new wars" tRump to begin the current war on Iran.

Trump didn't start that operating principle. The US has done that since its inception. I think every nation does the same. Each nation has lies that it tells itself to keep the people believing in the purpose of said state.
sree251 · 41-45, M

Trump didn't start that operating principle.

No, he did not. It's the operating principle of the Devil manifesting in Trump.
