The American people are not onboard with what's going on in Iran.

The war is turning into the ultimate test of an operating principle that has guided Trump for decades: construct a narrative, declare it to be true and relentlessly force the world to submit to it. It has proved effective in Manhattan boardrooms, on reality television and even at the heart of power in Washington.

Trump is an influencer who believes in the power of suggestion. The American people are not on board with what’s going on because he cannot articulate an argument for why we’re there or what victory actually looks like. Above all it is immoral both in substance as well as in execution.

Trump didn't start that operating principle. The US has done that since its inception. I think every nation does the same. Each nation has lies that it tells itself to keep the people believing in the purpose of said state.

Trump didn't start that operating principle.

No, he did not. It's the operating principle of the Devil manifesting in Trump.
