The American people are not onboard with what's going on in Iran.

The war is turning into the ultimate test of an operating principle that has guided Trump for decades: construct a narrative, declare it to be true and relentlessly force the world to submit to it. It has proved effective in Manhattan boardrooms, on reality television and even at the heart of power in Washington.

Trump is an influencer who believes in the power of suggestion. The American people are not on board with what’s going on because he cannot articulate an argument for why we’re there or what victory actually looks like. Above all it is immoral both in substance as well as in execution.

Patriots supporting the US Government? No one is disputing that. The Government needs to be sacked for mismanaging the country.
@sree251 The poster disputed by saying the American people are not on board with what's going on.
@ChristinaNks Depends on your definition of "patriot."

A Reuters/Ipsos survey found that only 14% of Republicans support a large scale ground invasion of Iran (only 7% of all US adults support it).

So if your definition of "patriot" is "republican" than you are wrong. However, if you have a definition where "patriot" is synonymous with "tRump supporter," well, you can reach any conclusion you like based on an appeal to purity fallacy.

@ChristinaNks *bootlickers* are on board
@ElwoodBlues my definition of patriots isn't going to be the woke version so my statement stands.
@ChristinaNks Congrats on your appeal to purity fallacy!!

BTW, I think it's really revealing to see how conservatives define 'Woke' when they're under oath:

The American people are indeed not on board with what's going on in Iran. What are you pointing out that is different?

@ChristinaNks I thought american patriots obey and defendthe Constitution, but you're saying they're required to obey and defend King Donald.

How easy it was to destroy america's democracy!

How eagerly 'patriots' replaced tolerance and understanding with false fears and self-interest!
