While I have no love for Trump or his decision to bomb Iran, it's an oversimplification to say it's just to distract from the Epstein files. That also kind of lets the U.S. off the hook for wanting war with Iran since 1979, essentially. I'm sure Trump likes that the Epstein files aren't the top news story right now, but this is about far more than just that. This is about Israel and the U.S. wanting to eliminate an adversary by force, as they've wanted to for a long time. For all Trump's promises to be the "peace president" (JD literally said Trump would not start a war with Iran during the campaign), ultimately the U.S. and Israel can't stop projecting power; it's how they exist. In other words, this still would've happened even without the Epstein files.

@WestonTexan I accept your premise. In fact Trump has multiple reasons to bomb Iran apart fron Epstein. Creating a big enough disruption to give him a reason to delay the Mid terms. The old saw of creating a foreign conflict to draw support behind the government when it is drifting away. To back the Israeli prime minister who is under his own internal pressure through corruption charges, so he can negotiate a deal estate deal in Gaza and other locations in Israel. (This has already had publicity) and some of Trumps biggest donors are Jewish. And to fill the US headlines with any Non Trump publicity. There is indeed, quite a collection..😷

@WestonTexan well I’m sure there’s a good reason why the winner of the FIFA Peace Prize, someone else’s Nobel Peace Prize, and someone who has stopped countless wars (so many that you literally can’t count them) is igniting the middle east

@WestonTexan I guess you missed Billy blowjobs testimony where he said Trump had nothing to do with Epstein or ever on his island
Blackie · 56-60, M
I would say the media wants to create the distraction. Putting Trumps face to that topic makes zero sense. The politicians just let it happen for the greater good. The real question is who’s determining what the greater good is? Or if it’s even good? Takes some critical thinking here. Deep reflection, where was your voice when the files weren’t released years ago. Where is your voice now on mask mandates? How quickly we forgot about that and just let that go. See how that works 🐑.

What a goof 😄
Epstein files show Trump not involved in his illicit activities. Even Bill Clinton exonerated him. Lots of democrats though.
Economy on track, inflation controlled
Midterms trending right.

I cannot agree that bombing a country is an epic distraction from the crap he's doing here in the states.
Trump most likely feels since much of the world is likes Iran he can do what he wants without repercussions of any sort. Since Iran is the third or fourth largest oil producers, and oil means money and Trump loves money and power, Trump wants his hand in control of that oil like he's done in Venezuela.

To me its perfect that American leadership realizes subconsciously that they need these vitriolic propaganda names to cover the stink of what they are in fact doing. If they can simply give a hurricane a persons name, they could do the same with military operations. It was good enough in WW2 with Operation Overlord and Market garden..😷

@AthrillatheHunt Nope. I lost hope there when he got elected again. As Abraham Lincoln said. "You can fool some of the people some of the time. But if you elect him again, you deserve everything thats coming to you."😷

@AthrillatheHunt The way I heard it, that was attributed to him, but he denied saying it. Maybe he should have been a politician?😷

Because "Epic Fury" has the same initials as "Epstein Files." 😝

Because that's not what it is! You should be able to see that!

The UK doesn't have room to talk because Starmer has signed off on this too.
Zaphod42 · 51-55, M
Too on the nose. Of course, Epic Fury isn’t much better, considering all the things he’s actually mad about 🤷♂

Because Americans don't mind ending the world since we, the world, didn't surrender well enough. We tried? But you're still FURIOUS. You're only ever FURIOUS. We'll all be killed, probably. Sorry we didn't submit well enough! But that's over and everyone, everyone, but USA Israel won't rest with you ever again. Not with you here.
