Why isn’t Trump’s bombardment of Iran called Operation Epic Distraction?

@carpediem I read that congressional Democrats blocked a motion that would require a full disclosure of any sexual misconduct charges filed against them .How typical .They only want transparency to go one way .

Here’s what actually happened:

1. The proposal was from Rep. Nancy Mace to force immediate publication of congressional sexual-misconduct investigation records.
2. The House didn’t pass it, they sent it to the Ethics Committee instead.
3. That vote was bipartisan. Democrats and many Republicans voted the same way.
4. The concern raised wasn’t hide everything, sorry. It was that ethics files often contain unverified allegations and victims’ private information.
5. Plus Congress already has a process for releasing findings after investigations conclude.

So no, unfortunately for you it wasn’t Democrats blocking transparency. It was both parties (for once) refusing to dump unverified accusations and sensitive info into the public record for political theatre.

If you’re going to complain about the vote, complain about Congress not just your hated Dems.

@Waveney No deflection ,just a fact .And I also seem to recall that when Brett Kavanagh was ambushed with those ridiculous allegations at his confirmation hearing ,the Senate Democrats knew about them months in advance ,and rather then take them through the system you speak of ,deliberately kept them quiet untill they could spring them as a last minute surprise .Sorry ,you don't get to take the moral high ground on this.....😔
