As far as Trump and Epstein goes, I don't see you caring about Epstein's victims and calling for Trump to be investigated with his many crimes. You don't strike me as the type of person who cares unless a person like me wants to mention it.

I say that Weinstein is not guilty, and for good reason. He never raped the women. He asked them to perform oral sex or have intercourse with him, and if they refused, they did not get the part. They would then be told to leave. This is not rape. Weinstein is having second retrial in New York and is seeking retrial in California.
What are Trump’s “many crimes”? Who has he raped? Who are his victims? Virginia Giuffre said that she never saw Trump visit the island, and was of the view that he did not have sex with the girls.
Because they never had any intention of releasing anything. It was something that grew on the internet and became popular with Trump supporters, so they promised to release more Epstein info (in particular a "client list") once in power. Now that they actually are being tasked with doing it, they realize they can't (because they don't have what they promised, because it implicates people in power, etc.) Trump is hoping it will go away now, but it doesn't seem to be going away.
In either case, Trump is in his second term and isn't going to resign over this, so he likely can just keep ignoring it until eventually it stops being talked about.
This is stale now. Trump wants to release grand jury testimony, which would no doubt be safer for him and would require a judge to sign off on and thus get blamed by Trump if it goes badly.
Honestly, I dont get why this release would bother Trump so badly given what other depravity MAGA seems to whole heartedly cheer on, but I'm getting won over to the idea that Democrats should capitalize on this as opposed to other issues.
This whole episode is really confusing. Daily news claims he will release the files, then they claim there is nothing. I kinda believe Dershowicz. He claims he has seen redacted documents with names. Lets see all of it
@Patriot96 The only problem with that is the fact that not all people who may be on any sort of a list were clients of his nefarious enterprise. So at the very least redactions need to be made. Also, as I understand it, Epstein didn't have a "list". The "list" is a compilation of what was researched by LE.
Trump is on Epstein's list and there's evidence against him that if it came out would be an issue as he would have to be arrested. The Supreme Court is also paid for so right now Trump can do whatever he wants
@SatanBurger And not just the community. Trump's intimidation of everyone is kind of key. He's already done a number on the press, and every federal employee is petrified.
Since his name and a lot of his close buddy's names are on that list, he will do everything he can to conceal it. We may have to wait until the end of his presidency in 3.5 years (when the next president is elected) to find out!

There IS no "list". We have already seen the flight logs, and that is all we will ever see or know about who flew with Epstein, and where. INTELLIGENT criminals do not keep client lists.

I think it's fair to say, that from this day forward, anyone defending the Republican party for refusing to make the Epstein list public - will not be listened to ever again.
While the Epstein list issue has fractured MAGA, it will not break their support for President Trump. That happens later this year when tariffs make food and energy impossible for the avg American to buy.
Yes, but indirectly. Mid-term results will be fixed to maintain status quo. Growing public distrust in government, rising cost of living and the resignation / removal of key members of leadership (defence, treasury, justice) will energize local reformers and resistance groups. Open revolt isn't far away 😔
