So, the illegal alien was detained during his trial. I'm assuming the judge's rationale is because the ICE agent has to wait until after the verdict to arrest the illegal? Isn't the reason he falsified his driver's license because he's an illegal alien?
Sounds like a procedural issue where the lines are blurred. Of course that doesn't stop the leftwing narrative. I've noticed every liberal is now a due process expert.

@BizSuitStacy The judiciary had already ruled only a week or so ago that courts are a sanctuary area, as far as those on trial are concerned.

You don't seem to care when judges order Trump to do something and he doesn't. What happened then from you, crickets. Also this isn't a case of Nazism, the person didn't have their chance for due process and the judge was going to allow due process to happen, Trump violated due process.
The incident involves U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent Brian Sullivan and Judge Mark Summerville of the Boston Municipal Court. On March 27, 2025, during the trial of Wilson Martell-Lebron—a Dominican national accused of providing false information on a driver's license application—Agent Sullivan detained Martell-Lebron outside the courtroom without prior notice or due process. This action led Judge Summerville to hold Sullivan in contempt of court, asserting that the arrest violated Martell-Lebron's constitutional rights to a fair trial and due process.
The judge dismissed the charges against Martell-Lebron following the detention. Suffolk County District Attorney Kevin Hayden criticized ICE's actions as reckless, stating they undermine public safety by deterring witnesses and victims from cooperating with legal authorities due to fear of immigration consequences. The Justice Department has moved to dismiss the contempt charge against Sullivan, citing federal supremacy and arguing that the state lacks authority to obstruct federal duties.

@SatanBurger show me one thing that says the lower court bench has president over the PRESIDENT, you don’t rule from the bench, that’s why there’s three branches of government
SatanBurger · 36-40, F
@Prison1203 Show me in the Constitution where the president is actually a King, Prison.
Prison1203 · 61-69, M
@SatanBurger show me how he’s a king, by the way, deflection is not an answer because you know I’m right, that’s why you deflected
calicuz · 56-60, M
How can he be in the country illegally when the judge hasn't even ruled on his legal status. You people really need to learn how the law works. Police officers' roles are to not pass judgment, that's what the judge is for. 🙄

DUUUDE!!! Go back and read the Constitution!!!
The Fifth Amendment says that no person shall be deprived of "life, liberty, or property, without due process of law."
The ICE agent violated a person's due process rights. That's a crime; no ifs ands or buts.

@Reason10 DEAD WRONG!! AS USUAL!!
Constitutionally, a "time of public danger" as referenced in the Fifth Amendment's Grand Jury Clause, encompasses situations beyond just war or foreign invasion, including threats like plagues, financial panics, jailbreaks, and natural disasters, where the militia or military may be called upon to restore order.
None of those conditions were or are happening. Gestapo tactics (and gazpacho tactics) need to be nipped in the bud.

@Tastyfrzz The Judge is just wasting more tax dollars.

This is how the left operates. Concern about American citizens? Nope. Illegals are more important. The very fact he was in court and was here illegally should have prompted an immediate arrest and ICE notification.
Chief Justice Robert’s set donnie straight.
If the executive branch wants to whine about something; he can pull out a tissue while the apppelate system processes his complaint. I do wish that donnie would gtfu!

I find it amusing that both sides are accusing the other of being Nazis

@MissingLink it's important. If you have a political compass you're not allowed in US chatter - you're blacklisted and shallow binned!

Trump committed 34 😂😂😂😂😂😂
TheRascallyOne · 31-35, M
He should be arrested
PicturesOfABetterTomorrow · 41-45, M
More lies. If he arrested someone and denied their right to due process he is lucky he is not facing unlawful arrest and kidnapping charges. The only person committing felonies here are the Trump Gestapo.
SatanBurger · 36-40, F
@Reason10 The police who were beaten severely would beg to differ about the Jan 6th rioters being called tourists. Also several Jan 6th rioters pardoned were arrested for child prn. There were like 6 I believe and if there's that many, it's quite obvious the "types" of people trying to take over our government on Jan 6th.

@SatanBurger Treason and pedophilia is normal in their crowd sadly.
