Do u believe Donald Trump is somewhat responsible for January 6 ? 🤔

You know. The Insurrection that took place in the year 2021. Just like 9/11 we will never forget. It was really messy. So sad what happened on that fateful day. Well at least it wasn't Obama who was there when this all happened. Thank goodness. Comments.🙄

He is absolutely responsible. I mean hell he pretty much stage managed it and lit the match.

@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow I agree. Without that rally it would have never happened.

As a Brit, it's the moment I realised the USA doesn't even have the courage to uphold her own Constitution. It was an insurrection and Trump instigated it. All the gaslighting in the world won't change that.
Richard65 · M
@RockerDad I was disappointed that the USA seems eager to spread democracy globally as part of her Imperialist Project, but wholly failed to punish a traitor who instigated an actual insurrection on home soil.

@Richard65 Maybe America should once again become a colony of Britian. Americans are just not capable of governing themselves.

Or maybe give the country back to the native Americans.

Bizarrely, the same congress who was attacked in the attempted coup on Jan. 6th 2001 is now going to ratify Trump the convicted felon for president.

FYI - When the congress came under attack the congress people were moved to a safe location. If the rioters had gotten a hold of the congress-members they would have tried to kidnap or kill them. That is high treason.

More than somewhat. I believe he is directly responsible for planning and implementing it , with the help of Roger Stone, a handful of congressmen, Steve Bannon, and several others. In nearly any other country, he would be in prison, or worse. These Trump sniffers who deny what we all saw with our own eyes, disgust me. To re-elect Trump after that, and let him ofc the hook for his crimes is a perversion of justice, and brought shame upon this country that will never be erased.
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
He's completely responsible for it. And, always will be... through all of history.
Zonuss · 46-50, M
@MarkPaul Thank you.
He wasn’t “somewhat” responsible. He was entirely responsible.
Jake966 · 56-60, M
Trump had nothing to do with it . Out of that huge crowd a few thousand break off and cause that and you say Trump is responsible ? If everyone headed off and participated in it I’d say yes
Zonuss · 46-50, M
@Jake966 Of course we can. He hinted that we are not going to have a country anymore and that we need to go down there and fight That was all the ammo that Maga needed.
Jake966 · 56-60, M
@Zonuss so when he ended his speech and said go quietly and peacefully, that’s too insight a riot ? gotcha

WRONG!!!
Jan 6 was what Tяump attempted when his false electors plot to overturn the 2020 election failed.

We know several weeks of effort, masterminded by Kenneth Chesebro, went into recruiting seven slates of false electors; many with false (forged) paperwork; all of which Trump was kept involved with. That coup d'état failed because Mike Pence had the VP duties researched and realized he couldn't play ball.

Jan 6 was a quickly thrown-together followup to prevent the counting of electoral votes when they found Mike Pence wouldn't count fake electors. Jan 6 was part and parcel of the false electors plot. That's why the insurrectionists were chanting "Hang Mike Pence."

@ElwoodBlues spot on..

Trump incited the insurrection. Was recorded ebbing those "protesters" to "Fight like hell". Bc he encouraged an insurrection 'against the same' he broke his oath of office which is perjury. Additionally inciting an insurrection disqualifies him from holding the office of president; and probably any future public office. The constitution is clear on that. He won the latest election; and is disqualified from taking that office. Read it for yourself. 14th amenment section 3. He was immediately disqualified from holding any future public office when he, told his ptotestors, on j6, "to Fight like hell" end of story read it for yourself.
A special election is thus required.
NO!!!!!!! He is not "somewhat" responsible. He is 100% responsible.
Cantsayno · 56-60, M
I think he is solely responsible for it
jehova · 31-35, M
Entirely responsible for inspiring.
Pfuzylogic · M
Obama would have ripped him a new one!
gol979 · 41-45, M
He was responsible for people being shown round a public building by the police, in office hours?

It brings to mind the adage, "if they told you to stick your head in the oven, would you"

Oh, and dont mention the secret service were there too. This is all statist theatre imo
RockerDad · M
@gol979 the weren’t being “ shown around” (other than the day before when some of them got private tours from congressmen who were in on it). They were not “peaceful tourists”, This was a violent insurrection, and attempt to overthrow the government, which resulted in dozens of police being severely injured, and the death of at least one of them. Had the insurrectionists succeeded in finding the congresspeople who were hiding for their lives, they’d have also have committed kidnapping, and possibly murder of multiple menbers of congress. This was planned days in advance by Trump and others. If it were up to me, the national guard would have been sent in, with authorization to use lethal force, and the capitol would have resembled the scene at Kent State.

He's a Very Naughty Boy 🤨
