A key legal adviser to Robert Kennedy Jr, Donald Trump’s pick for health secretary, is at the center of efforts to push federal drug regulators to revoke approval for the polio and hepatitis B vaccines and block distribution of 13 other critical vaccines.

Aaron Siri, a lawyer who has been helping Kennedy select top health administrators as part of the Trump transition process, is deeply embedded in longstanding efforts to force the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to withdraw a raft of vaccines that have saved the lives and health of millions of Americans.

Our military are required to have several vaccines prior to deployment to foreign lands.

I assume the new administration plans to either send troops w/o vaccine protection to foreign lands.....or to withdraw every member and bring them all back to the USA to patrol the border and/or assist in tbe roundup and deportation effort.

What's the situation right now, in the US? Is vaccination (against, say, influenza) free? Or do you have to pay for it yourself? Or is it covered by your health insurance?

I don't really know what that means, exactly. Will vaccines somehow be declared illegal or what?

We don't have access to the facts and the ethical rules we once agreed on. The conservatives can't win arguments so we're beyond argument.
I'm ready to let them have this.

From what I have heard, a large part of the problem is that vaccines are not properly tested for either safety or efficacy. I have never looked into it but if the COVID vax is any indication.....

@hippyjoe1955 actually that's not true as a general statement... I'm not aware of any vaccine that's never been tested and down to be effective...i suggest you aquatint yourself with photos of smallpox victims and wards full of children with polio., things you just don't see today, luckily
