Okay, so guys? I had somebody set me straight on what the deep state actually is, and it's one of those things that people have just blown out of all proportion.

So there are unelected government employees in charge of certain civilian organizations.

Technically speaking, the deep state isn't the terrifying force the right wants us to believe it is. It's just every federal employee who was hired, rather than being elected or appointed by a politician. That's it. That's all it is.
