Okay, so guys? I had somebody set me straight on what the deep state actually is, and it's one of those things that people have just blown out of all proportion.

So there are unelected government employees in charge of certain civilian organizations.

That's literally it.

@LordShadowfire Unelected and not politically appointed or loyal to the current President, as opposed to the office, the Constitution, or the country.

And then there's the "deep" part, i.e., their secret agendas to further the above stuff instead of the presently elected mon... err President.
