Democracy, we are fixated now with the up and coming elections but spare a thought to for our ancestors in Grease where this system was devised

Indeed, ancient Grease invented democracy and allowed everyone to vote.

The leader of ancient Grease was Joan of Ark (the face that launched a thousand shrimps), but all was not well in this fledgling democracy. This was 5000 years ago, before the great flood so our ancestors still had to battle with dinosaurs while they went to the voting stations.

However, despite these challenges this small country set the standard. It was only 4 short years later when Hitler found out about this and hung poor Joan from the guillotine and then sunk the Titanic which started the Second World War...Please bear this in mind when you go to vote yesterday.

You mean Greece?

Thanks for reminding me, it's been awhile since I had the oil changed in my car, I guess it would qualify as ancient grease.

But, But, But there are no Greeks in my ancestorial family lines. I can thank them for the development of the process though.

@WillaKissing Indeed, when you have to fight hand to hand with a diplodocus (who always vote for some bloody vegan party) you know they had it tough.

Thank you for exposing the truth that we are all descendants of the Greases and not Africans who migrated North to establish Mesopotamia. Be careful, some don't want this truth to get out.

You have such a great way of summing up World History, Professor. You should write a book. I reckon, however, it would be a short book.

Makes as much sense as the ramblings of some people who want to overthrow democracy here.
Joan of Ark. That was Noah's wife, right?
AndysAttic · 56-60, M
@LordShadowfire No Sir, the woman you are thinking of was Nellie. However she would not be allowed to vote until Ermingtude Pancake protested to change the law many years later.
@AndysAttic I stand corrected, professor. Thank you.

@LordShadowfire My absolute pleasure Sir.
