Assuming he doesn't get tripped up by judges, he still has to convince 12 jurors that Trump should be convicted.
I'm not saying it should be that hard, but practically, I didn't think it's going to be that easy.
There are millions of people who have, to various degrees, believed in Trump, and all it takes is one, willing to Trumpishly lie to get on the jury, and then vote to acquit.
@MistyCee I think most Trump supporters will assume the prosecution will be looking for jurors eager to convict and get themselves disqualified for acting too ready to do so 🤷♂️
@Zaphod42 Jurors pretty much usually only get disqualified for answering that they can't follow the law and limit themselves to the evidence to the judge says they can consider.
I think it is pretty funny and pretty telling that Trump managed to bankrupt a casino - even though there is an old saying – the House always wins. Cheers!
Things overall will work out for Trump. So far he has managed to float by treading water. He has done a great job considering how many people on the left keep trying to sink him. Even though he’s said some stuff recently that doesn’t sit well with me.
@LordShadowfire I have a sinking feeling that with the exodus from congress we are going to get a nightmare scenario for our parties. The democrats are splitting amongst themselves and so are the republicans.
As much as I hate Trump and I hope he dies in prison Biden was bought and paid for long ago, a very corrupt piece of human garbage. He was chosen by the wealthy and powerful because he will do what he is told to do and Trump is too mentally-ill to obey.
