Anyone else tired of Republicans' "entitlement attitude"?

Seriously. They think they are entitled to cheap gas that the government must provide through dirt-cheap leases on public land, entitled to be able to drive their Off Road Vehicle wherever they want, entitled to have that Off Road Vehicle to begin with, entitled to lower taxes despite taking more than they give back.

And they complain about poor folks' entitlement, when all they feel they are entitled to is a little food and a chance for a meager existence.

And ironically, it's the Red States that get the lion's share of federal funding. Love that they hold their hands out while screaming about the welfare state. It's perfect.

Yup, so much better to pay $4.87 a gallon, than the $1.82 under President Trump. Got any more brilliant ideas?
@Bumbles
Demand dropped during COVID which lowered prices then supply was very low during the recovery.
Gas prices were historically low prior to the pandemic. But what happened right after Biden was inaugurated? He signed EOs cutting the keystone pipeline and froze leases to drill.
Cut supply and prices rose.

Your graph just proved my point. Ohhh...you know so much 😂😂😂
@Bumbles oh...and Biden has sold off half the Strategic Petroleum Reserve - you know - to help lower prices. Oh shit...they're still at all time highs.

Yes I’m totally sick of that self centered personality type.
boudinMan · 61-69, M
so, you'd rather the price of gas be higher and the government provide subsidies to poor people so they can drive?

nobody is entitled to cheap gas, but why would you intentionally want to keep the price high? what kind of backwards logic explains that?
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@boudinMan you need to expand the paves you get information from. I watch Fox as well as MSNBC, read the Wall Street Journal and the NY Times. It is important to take out the hatred from the facts.
boudinMan · 61-69, M
@samueltyler2 so do i. facts are facts.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@boudinMan but the interpretation via some media may alter the interpretation.

Also major tax cuts, tax advantages to fossil fuel companies, etc.

@sunsporter1649 i’m not debating the good or bad, i’m debating whether Repubs have an entitlement attitude and whether others are tired of it.

@sunsporter1649 did u just stroke out?
KunsanVeteran · 61-69, M
It’s their misinterpretation of the 2nd Amendment that really frightens me.
SumKindaMunster · 51-55, M
Tired of your loaded bullshit questions masquerading as serious inquiries.

We all know this is just to virtue signal and bash the people you hate, why must you always play coy?

Yes, to all of the above because this is America after all

I have personally seen the privilege magats locally complaining about the price they have to pay for little Debbie and hostess snack cakes. And they want someone to check them out quick in the store with them.
Seriously hit people in their bread and circus and you will control them.
At a federal level every few months the republicans threaten to shut down the government or pay any on the debt unless they get their way. Really getting old hearing about them trying to shutdown the government every few months.

@Renaci "At a federal level every few months the democrats did threat to shut down the government or pay any on the debt unless they got their way. Really getting old hearing about them trying to shutdown the government every few months."

Depending on who's in power, maybe you should fix your statement.
Ynotisay · M
@Tiredish Or you can look at it this way.

When a Democratic Congress has shut it down (for valid reasons) cumulatively it's lasted a total of 6 days. The last time was in 1990. Cost to the government was roughly $215 million.

The last five times it's happened, with Republicans shutting it down (as stunts), it's been total of 83 days.
Cost to the government? $7.5 BILLION.

So there, I fixed your statement with some facts. I think it helps.

@ron122 I see Biden lives rent free in the empty space in your skull.
@ron122 So, are you admitting Biden is not smart enough to be some sort of master criminal and leave no evidence behind?
Guess that means there is no reason to impeach Biden.
