Is Putinsim a form of fascism

Putin is a nationalist rightwinger an autocrat and a irredentist leading an agressive and expanssionist Russia a majot threat to non Nato countries on its borders isnt this a form of fascism.

I would call it more authoritarian/imperialistic than fascistic because there's not so much a political movement as a dictatorship that is becoming more totalitarian. It's more czarist and backward looking.
Putin is closer to a mafia boss than he is a fascist. You can be an autocrat and expansionist without being a fascist.

I also think the narrative that Russia is a major threat to NATO or europe more generally is overblown particularly now. I mean they have proven to the world they are not even close to a near peer and were a paper tiger. They are getting their teeth kicked in by one of the weakest adjacent NATO allies that should have been a cake walk. And a handful of European nations are more than capable of taking down Russia in a conventional fight without American backing. This is one reason I think NATO is a bigger problem for Europe than a help. For decades there has no longer been a need for Europe to rely on an alliance that has been designed from day one to put American interests before an entire continent's worth of nations. Europeans are quite capable of defending themselves.

Eh not really there's fascist elements but not every single dictator is a fascist it does mean something specific.

zelinski is a anti-nationalist left-wing nut-job marxist, a wanna-be dictator, and a war-monger leading an aggressive and expansionist ukraine, a major threat to non-warsaw pact countries on its borders, isn't this a form of socialism

@sunsporter1649 its as far from socialism as can possibly be

What a strange world it is at times, that he has come to be what he is. He could call peace tomorrow. I look at him and wonder. What goes on in his head?

It's part of the whole far-right aesthetic that I don't quite understand. They mock us for worshiping liberal and leftist politicians, but they quite literally surrender their own thinking process to a "strong leader" type, even when that person has been proven to be a deranged lunatic.

My guess, and I'm being absolutely serious with this, is that most of these people didn't have a strong male role model in their lives when they were little kids.

@LordShadowfire Jesus is a corrupt liar? Prove it.

What lie did I accuse Joe Biden of telling? Please check my posts.

I didn't say Jesus was a corrupt liar. Don't put words in my mouth. I said you worship a corrupt liar. He's your role model.

Don't play stupid. First you accused me of having Joe Biden as a role model, and then you said all my role models are corrupt liars. Therefore, you are calling Joe Biden a liar. Don't fucking weasel out of it now. Own your words.
sree251 · 41-45, M
@LordShadowfire I did not accuse you of having Joe Biden as a role model. I assumed that was the case when I said: "I don't understand why you would pick Joe Biden instead (of Jesus as role model)." Joe Biden is non-fictional. I give you that. So, which politician is your role model, if any? We can sort out my statements from there.
