Republicans and Democrats are two sides of the same coin. That Coin is one of maintaining wealth and prosperity for the upper class.

The Democrat strategy is to release some pressure, letting the steam out and making it easier for the have-nots to breath. This is evidenced by lip service to minorities, to labor, and to progressives. But when it comes to real action they typically do the bare minimum to keep some level of support.

It's no wonder the past two presidential elections have been based on people voting against the other party rather than for someone they liked.
