Just another day. I'm sick of politics, division, hate.
Graylight · 51-55, F
@SW-User the Committee was a political necessity. From here on, it's a legal issue, and I've never heard someone suggest a criminal not be prosecuted because people didn't like him or were tired of important stuff.
wonkywinky · 51-55, M
@SW-User This is current trend in modern politics.
Where people view things in terms of "division" or "hate",instead of looking at the policies and views of all parties?A Govt is elected by the people to run the country in a certain ethos,depending upon the zeitgeist of the times in which we live,not whether or not it engenders "hate" or "division".

@wonkywinky and I don't like it
What about these guys?

@BohemianBabe Let the impeachments begin.
@Experienced33 Impeachments? Plural?? Are you guys gonna try to impeach Hunter too???
ron122 · 41-45, M
Same thing I'll do when Hunter and "The Big Guy" get indicted. Carry on with my life.

It wouldn't effect my daily/nightly routine.

Nothing. He’s not my problem.
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
I'mma get baked as fuck and talk shit to MAGAts all over the internet until I'm blocked literally everywhere.
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
@ron122 Y'all talk shit to us, calling us commies and Nazis and whatever other names you don't remotely understand. If you can dish it out, you'd better be able to take it.
ron122 · 41-45, M
@LordShadowfire But you're the one that gets all butt hurt so easily. All you do is talk shit.

Wait for the result of the trial, of course, just as I did after the impeachments.
Ynotisay · M
If it happens I'll feel better about the "We're a nation of laws" or "No one is above the law" shit that gets thrown out there. But it still won't make me believe it. Our laws our transactional. But for the sake of the country I would applaud a line in the sand. The cracks in Democracy that are being exploited needs to end.

Smile a lot!!

The character trump will only be indicted if the script says so. Divide and rule

Dont blame the clown for being a clown, ask yourself why you keep turning up to the show
jackson55 · M
Without Trump CNN will disappear.
Graylight · 51-55, F
@BohemianBabe Trump was a private (failing) businessman and D-list celebrity then. Why would CNN have covered him?

CNN, as ill as it is along with many other news agencies, covers the entire circus. You can't critique what you don't watch.
beckyromero · 36-40, F
@Graylight

If CNN (and other news outlets) gave as much free coverage to Jeb Bush, Marco Rubio and a few other GOP candidates as they did to Donald Trump during the run-up to the 2016 GOP primaries, Trump would have gone back to hosting "The Apprentice."

“I’ve spent zero on advertising because you and Fox and all of the others — I won’t mention names, but every other network, I mean they cover me a lot, to put it mildly,” Trump told Fox News host Neil Cavuto in October (2015).

Indeed, Trump has completely dominated media mentions since the summer, accounting for 41 percent of television news mentions of Republican candidates, according to the 2016 Campaign Television Tracker. Meanwhile, Jeb Bush, whose campaign and super PAC have spent a combined $49 million on advertisements across the country through Jan. 9, has accounted for just over 17 percent of television news mentions.

In March 2016, the New York Times estimated that U.S. medua companies had given Trump $2 billion worth in free air time. And the primary season wasn't even half over yet by then.

@jackson55 Having some firsthand knowledge I can say with confidence that CNN, along with most major broadcast outlets, do NOT want to be covering that sociopathic grifter any more. What they don't have is a choice. That's not how it works.
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
Not hold my breath.. It will take a decade to jail him with all the delays built into the system. But at least he will be poor by then..😷
Vin53 · M
Well I'm going to certainly celebrate but I'll also shed tears of laughter, so this poll has me stymied with which one to pick.

I won't do anything until he's actually in prison ... we've been down this road before, until there is a happy ending, it's inconsequential
SW-User
@BlueVeins hopefully he will be indicted this month, but even then I won't get my hopes up ... this is potentially how that could play out, and in and of itself, it's not an obstacle to Trump being president:

@Vin53 it's unfortunate that Weisselberg didn't more directly implicate though in the tax fraud though

@MarmeeMarch huh? Democrats probably gained seat in the senate. They were expected to lose. That is unprecedented in a midterm election.
