The Republicans posting on this site are extremely poor at reasoning and highly skilled at deceiving. It's a mob scene. A diseased cult. Herd mentality. 🙄
As much as I'd really like to disagree with this post, because a good deal of them are actually decent people when you put politics aside, it's hard not to notice just how weak their rationale is when it comes to the topics they're concerned about.
Far too frequently it seems like their mind has been infected with a parasite that leaves them too hateful to consider any alternative point of view. It's so Orwellian how devoted they are to the philosophy of "Republican good, Democrat baaaaaad".
I almost feel sorry for them because it seems to be completely instinctual how badly they want to dismiss and disregard the liberal point of view. As if their experiences don't even matter because it doesn't align with their narratives.
I don't even care what their political beliefs are, it's just so sad to see how poorly they'll treat anyone that identifies to the left of them
@JaggedLittlePill You've got a point. The majority of people who devote their time and energy to discussing politics are usually pretty toxic to begin with. There's a part of them that just enjoys being disagreeable and putting others down
This is why I hate politics. People seem to be brainwashed by their political party and conditioned to find fault with anyone who doesn’t share their beliefs. There is nothing United about this country at all anymore.
@SW-User It isn't limited to America. A few Canadian users like HippyJerk are trying to convince people that Liberalism is all about hatred. The only truth to his rants is that he is full of hatred.
@SW-User Mine isn't. You get strange calls if you say something weird and umm it's not just me. Like my whole family at the same time. What the heck. That's your thanks for promoting their agenda without asking for a penny in return. To hell with them.
Oh shut up. Democrats are just as bad. How's about you put your money where your mouth is and start responding relevantly to posts you disagree with instead of posting smug provocations such as this?
Now while I cant disagree with this post, I do find it rather judgemental. I am not saying that Republicans are lesser able in any way.. However it occurs to me that when you consider the totality of the legislation and regulation in place both Federally and State to protect and assist the deaf, the blind, those in wheelchairs, those with mental and other physical disabilities as well as those of racial and religious minorities and compare that to the amount of regulation in place to protect, support, promote the rights of and subsidize those who support the Republican Party and its voters, it becomes clear to me that both the Federal and most State governments recognise by Legislative protection that Republicanism itself is the greatest Disbility of all. So have a little Charity in the attitude please.😷
@SumKindaMunster I've gone out of my way to say that not everybody involved in Jan. 6 was a 'terrorist', even to people I knew didn't want to hear it.
There were tons of people that were lingering outside of the capitol building who recognized it was wrong to break in and riot. I've seen videos of protestors asking the capitol police to send in reinforcements because they sensed something bad was going to come of it.
That said, the people that chose to loot, destroy property, bring firearms and zip ties, assault police, and seek out congress members to maim and harass deserve to be behind bars. It's one thing to protest and make your voice heard, and quite another to attempt to subvert democracy and enforce your political beliefs through violence and intimidation.
@Rayce I have the good fortune to be elsewhere. But I seriously wish you all the luck in the world. The most immediate problem is not that your nation is headed in the wrong direction. It is that with the two oppossing sides locked in a tug of War there is not possibility of any motion in any direction.😷
I don't see any progress until people learn how to agree to disagree civilly. Might never happen on a mass scale, but on a small scale we all can manage it.
