Your entire post is based on the idea that a candidate shouldnt be the target of a federal investigation.
That of course, is absurd.
Absurdity aside...trump has yet to announce his candidacy.
Your statement has no merit.

screw that idea. a CRIMINAL should be investigated, no matter the party or the high office they hold.
the FBI at trumps house is follwing legal procedure
the Insurrection of the 6th was a clear attempt at subverting the due process of government
HE FUCKING LOST, the lied about it. quit crying.

Oh pulEEEEEEZZZZ
Criminals should never be above the law, CERTAINLY not because they MIGHT just happen to announce a run for office at the the last minute .... they shouldn't even be above the law once in office
It is a BS distraction to label everything as "politicizing" simply because criminals get held accountable for crimes
And you know full well if it was the other party you'd be chanting "LOCK [THEM] UP!" all over again
You live in an alternate universe
Don't you cretins ever get tired of being full of sh-t? Is it not exhausting?
Btw, did you need this to garnish your false narrative?

No one is above the law.

The FBI doesn't screw around with political agendas and the whims of idiot congressman and women. To execute a search warrant under regular parameters requires an extraordinary amount of evidence. To execute the warrant on a former president, thereby setting precedent, takes vastly more.
When you don't destroy federal documents by trying to flush them down the toilet and shred them into bits, there's no reason for suspicion.

@Graylight The documents obtained from Mar-a-lago obviously weren't destroyed, unlike Hillary's emails. Federal documents? It doesn't matter if they were federal documents or not. The question is whether the documents were classified or not. Those documents had already been declassified according to the President's discretion. This is clearly a politically motivated move and this time the democrats have gone too far.
Graylight · 51-55, F
@RocktheHouse First, I don't play the Whatabout game.
Secondly, Presidential records and federal records belong to the United States government. Only personal records can be taken and retained after leaving government service. Under the Presidential Records Act (PRA), these are (1) materials relating exclusively to the President’s own election and to the election of a particular individual or individuals to federal, state, or local office that “have no relation to or direct effect upon the carrying out of constitutional, statutory, or other official or ceremonial duties of the President;” and (2) materials relating to private political associations. 44 U.S.C. §2201.
Whether or not they were classified is nearly irrelevant. Trump knows what they looked for and knows what they found. And soo so will we under a trial for federal abuses. Trump is a criminal despot and he will be shown to be just that. There's nothing "political" about it when the crimes actually exist.

The head of the FBI, Christofer Wray, was appointed by the former president. The evidence has to be enormous for the DOJ to sign off on the warrant. And it is.
Northwest · M
IKR? that motherfucker, Democrat FBI director, was appointed by Biden, specifically to go after Trump. Where is the justice? Wake up people!

No one is above the law. He's paying the consequences of his crimes like anybody else would. The head of the FBI was appointed by him. Trump is a crook.

I would love to be on his jury. He'll be sorry that he didn't improve the federal prison system.

RocktheHouse · M
@Khenpal1 Yes, he is. He hasn't formally announced it yet but of course, he is.
Carissimi · F
It certainly is. It’s outrageous, and certain to divide the country even more.
justanothername · 51-55, M
@Carissimi Unfortunately that is Trumps plan. Divide and destroy.
