"It will be over my dead body that I'll have to get a shot."

Sarah Palin , talking today about Covid vaccination.
GeniUs · 56-60, M
Did she say why? Just blurting out something like that holds no value to the educated.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@GeniUs My conclusion, which is the same as the conclusion of the CDC and epidemiologists, virologists, and other medical professionals around the world, is that vaccination against covid significantly reduces hospitalizations and deaths. You may conclude differently due to your perversion and gross misunderstanding of the data, but it is at odds with the vast majority of professionals with direct hands-on experience in the area who have reviewed the data.
GeniUs · 56-60, M
@windinhishair Actually I understand the data better than most and have taken all elements presented into consideration (I'm sure there are many more elements known but that were excluded from the simplified view). This is not perverting the data or misunderstanding it but critically reviewing it rather than simply agreeing with the SMEs.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@GeniUs You have clearly misinterpreted the data, and deliberately so, with respect to the overall conclusion, so your claim that you understand it better than most is categorically false. The caveat you mentioned does not change the overall conclusion--in fact, it strengthens it. It is hilarious that you are unable to comprehend the impact of that caveat with your blinding due to bias. But don't listen to me. Listen to the experts at the CDC, NIH, and your own health service in the UK. They agree with the CDC conclusion that vaccination prevents poor outcomes in most people.
It would be moot at that point, wouldn’t it ?

Alas, she’s as big an idiot as ever. 🙄
RodionRomanovitch · 56-60, M
@bijouxbroussard Yep , that's why I posted it. 🤗
JohnOinger · 41-45, M
She's A Moron 😂
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@LeopoldBloom Neither does Tres13.
@windinhishair Except Palin is happily married to a traitor who wants Alaska to secede from the union. Imagine if a Democrat was married to someone like that.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@LeopoldBloom Are they still married? I thought they divorced long ago.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
Good for her. I am the same way. Well that and the fact that I know should I get the shot it may well be my dead body.
@hippyjoe1955 Wow, HJ, it seems you've been badly misled about how PCR testing works! What's worse, you've been spreading your misunderstandings for the last 18 months! You've been busily spreading lies - aren't you ashamed of yourself?

You apparently got fooled into believing that a rack of samples would go thru 38 cycles before being tested. Nothing could be further from the truth! Every sample is tested for fluorescence after EVERY cycle. In the sample you described, there was a significant fluorescence after 22 cycles, but the next sample might not have lit up until cycle 24!

I don't know the details, but the CDC has guidelines about how to interpret all this. And your doctor, in whom you place so much trust - s/he was simply following the CDC interpretive guidelines, LOL!!!

Meanwhile, that rack of samples probably went on for many more cycles. Again, I don't know that much about it, but 38 cycles might be appropriate for PCR tests of sewage samples. That's a big thing colleges and cities do, and those sorts of samples need much more amplification.

And all this time, you misunderstood PCR, misunderstood cycles, and spread falsehoods about it based on your ignorant misunderstanding! You really ought to be ashamed of yourself!!!
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@ElwoodBlues Do you live here? Do you have a friend that works in the PCR lab? I do. You don't. Run along son your ignorance is showing again.
@hippyjoe1955 Nice bluff!
It's 100% obvious that I've corrected a MAJOR misunderstanding you had about PCR testing! BTW, you still haven't told us what lab machine did your test. Is that PCR friend as imaginary as your "most published doctor" friend??
ninalanyon · 61-69, T
I imagine that there are people who agree with her and wish that she would get on with it.
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@ninalanyon Yes, she really has set herself up to provide a ’stupid is as stupid does’ moment
@ninalanyon I'm one of them, since she won't retire.
Entwistle · 56-60, M
The world would be a better place without her and her ilk.
PrincessAwesome · 22-25, F
It'd be so awesome if she gets covid and dies now.
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
She's probably been secretly vaccinated.

I'm never sure how much is an act with people like her. Maybe it began as pretending but then took over the real person? L
RodionRomanovitch · 56-60, M
@Burnley123 Once they discover it pays , that's it , all in.
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@RodionRomanovitch She was once a moderate Republican but then developed an Ann Coulter persona to get national attention...
Crazywaterspring · 61-69, M
Palin is still around? I thought she moved to Arizona with blabs on FB and occasional sightings at her class of store, Wal-Mart.
BigBulge · 41-45, M
Every time she opens her mouth, something stupid dribbles out. Message to her from God: "See yuh soon !"
I've read they won't give it to people under 30 in Israel anymore, bc of it ineffectiveness. I understand the elderly and ill seeking the jab, but for everyone is nothing more than a cash grab by big pharmaceutical.
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@checkoutanytime I don’t understand what you’re trying to say... could you please clarify your point for me?
@newjaninev2 the #'s are basically level, between fully vaxxed and unvaxxed, then factor the rate of death, it's all bogus.
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@checkoutanytime I’m sorry, but that makes absolutely no sense. Here in New Zealand, 90% of the population is vaccinated, 96% of covid-related hospital admissions are unvaccinated, 3% have received only a single dose (of the two required) and 100% of covid-related patients currently in ICU are unvaccinated

Perhaps you missed this, or perhaps you didn’t;t understand that ‘breakthrough cases’ refers to people who have been vaccinated:

Breakthrough cases in Massachusetts cases represent just a small percentage - 1.08% - of the 4.7 million people who have been fully vaccinated and the deaths an even smaller percentage - just 0.009%

In was way is that 'basically level'?
right between the eyes would be good
ServantOfTheGoddess · 61-69, M
That is a disturbing image
That would put the fun in funeral. lol
Works for me, let's kill her!
Elessar · 26-30, M
If I was the nurse, the temptation to inject these folks with saltwater when they come to (secretly) get their shots would be too strong to handle.

"Ops, breakthrough infection" 😏

We should all be so lucky, Repug Barbie needs to go away anyways, she's no longer relevant 🥴
RedBaron · M
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. agrees with her.
RedBaron · M
@bijouxbroussard Obviously. For one thing, he's alive.
@RedBaron Not for long if he’s an anti-vaxxer. And he’ll help kill off his constituents as well. So he’s not even representing his father’s ideals.
