@stratosranger wasn't that right around the time bubba wallace thought a garage pull was a noose
PrincessAwesome · 22-25, F
@stratosranger OMG! Did you seriously just use the LIBS ARE THE REAL RACISTS meme? That's so sad.
Well no, you failed to provide an example of Democrats calling a non-white person an uncle tom specifically for not being a Democrat. If you weren't a conservatard, you'd probably have the balls to admit it.

Holy crap. Here we go again with the anti white movement. You’re fucking insane. If you don’t like the way America runs itself, you should leave there
@losthorizons Yet people that love the country can criticize it. Only snowflakes that can't take anything bad said about it want to seceded from it and start a civil war. So gfys.
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@DeluxedEdition I was asking LostHorizons if he was referring to you.
PrincessAwesome · 22-25, F
@ElwoodBlues Yes... it's almost like that's why Democrats won't move Left of Center.
GerOttman · 61-69, M
No, it's just a counter balance to the "Let's make America a communist hell hole" movement. Essentially it's a case of fringe against fringe with the 90% of the middle left out in the cold wondering how the fuck these idiot bastards ever got so much attention in the first place. (hint.. it sells toothpaste on tv)
GerOttman · 61-69, M
@BlueMetalChick I'm so glad! You're response fills my heart with elation and joy. I look forward to many more equally informative and insightful respoonsis if the futre...
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@GerOttman This is silly and pedantic but that should have been "Your response..." instead of "You're response." I know, kk a grammar Nazi, I can't help it.
GerOttman · 61-69, M
@BlueMetalChick Thats OK, I'll keep feeding you straight lines, you just keep knocking them back! I can tell you enjoy it..
BigImo · 22-25, F
I'm still trying to figure out when America has ever been great
BigImo · 22-25, F
@boudinMan I never mentioned black people. You're accidentally exposing your racism again
boudinMan · 61-69, M
@BigImo you wouldn't know racism if it bit you in the ass, toots.
BigImo · 22-25, F
@boudinMan okay sweetie
No, making America great again has nothing to do with being white or race in general. In fact, i would say that aside from a few idiot extremist on the fringe, real MAGA supporters aren't obsessed with or pushing any sort of racial agenda, unlike those who speak out against them.

MAGA is about returning America to power and prosperity, taking back our nation's role as a global leader.

You call them backward. Take a very good look around you at America today, where it's currently headed, all the growing issues we are going through now. If this is forward, give me backward any day of the week.
@anythingoes477 Wow. Quite a lot to unpack here, most of it nonsense and partisan rhetoric of course, and I am not writing a novel all day to debunk mainstream media talking points you will probably never read, and most assuredly disagree with anyway.

So, allow me to just state my two points simply.

First, so much of the constant fighting and hostility i see between Trump supporters and non-Trump supporters is based upon ideology and perception. As with most of our issues in America today, it is emotionally and media driven using false information, half truths and exaggerations from both sides.

The second point is, there is nothing quite like being told who you are, what you stand for and believe, and why by those who oppose you, and make no attempt to understand you.
@PrivateHell I do agree with some of what you say. I think everyone in America agrees with "some" of what others say......whether they admit it or not. "Perception" of what truth is, is 100% responsible for the divide we see in America. Truth anymore is based on if I tell this lie long enough...eventually it will SOUND true.......but a lie is still a lie no matter how many times you tell it. I worked for the NSA for quite a while. If one knows what "Kompramat" is..and studies it...the Russians published papers on its effectiveness back in the 1950's that says the main reason propaganda (lies) works is human nature. If the same lie is repeated over and over and over to an audience that is receptive to hearing a lie, in as little as 30 days you will NEVER be able to convince that audience ever again that what they now believe is a lie. We have seen the effectiveness of lies...repeated lies...with "the big steal" lie that went on from 2016 to present. Back in 2016 just days after being elected trump started....."if I lose in 2020....there will be fraud to cause it." Go back and listen to his rallies on Youtube. That lie drummed over and over and over into the minds of those who idolized him became truth TO THEM long before 2020. To those that was not receptive to those lies..could see thru them...could see why they were being told......they were seen as lies immediately--and never believed. So when you say "preceptions" causes the issues we are now seeing.....you are right on the money. If one group believes lies.....because they want too......and one group can say I KNOW that's a lie and I can prove it....there will always be two sides fighting.

Your second point...not so clear. Judgement of the "other side" is based on what we see and hear out of them. That is just life. If we see a girl on a street corner in the middle of the night dressed so her pussy shows......we don't have to know who she is or what she stands for to know she is hooking. If we see a man wearing a police uniform we don't have to know him personally to know he is a cop...who represents the law. So when we see a group of people cheering after a girl was run over and killed in Charlottesville..."normal" people can't relate to that. And yet how many who voted differently loved it when that happened in Charlottesville? How many do you know or have talked too could completely relate to those that drove over her? How many times did you hear "she had it coming"? Ditto when a group of thugs smeared shit on the walls of the Capital, beat 2 cops to death with a flag poles.....set up a gallows with a sign on it that said we want to find and hang Pence.

It don't take personally knowing those people to know they belong in jail for as long as we can possibly keep them there. Those people....the prostutute...don't need me to understand them to know what they're about.

@PrivateHell
MAGA is about returning America to power and prosperity, taking back our nation's role as a global leader.
In what way? The man sat on his hands for four years as our infrastructure crumbled, offering up nothing greater than $200 billion in federal spending and later using it as a political football. Healthcare costs continued to rise at an embarrassing rate, while median real wages remained roughly stagnant.

He did basically nothing while the PRC consolidated power in the South China Sea, just like Obama did, and now that crucial trade route is brimming with Chinese nukes. He broke a crucial trade deal with Iran that allowed UN inspectors to enter Iranian nuclear sites and make sure they weren't building WMDs. His tariffs on China -- which were, on some level, a good concept -- boosted China's shaking relationships with Vietnam and Burma by encouraging Chinese manufacturers to sell mostly-completed goods to those two countries. It's the oldest trick in the book.

He didn't withdraw from Afghanistan even though we weren't gaining jack shit from that war. He didn't withdraw from Iraq even though we weren't gaining jack shit from that war. He didn't withdraw from Yemen even though the US involvement in the Yemeni Civil War is a national embarrassment that weirds people out worldwide; in fact, he vetoed a resolution to do so.

He did nothing on climate change, leaving the PRC to lead the world on that front. He fought against mask mandates and lockdowns, even though he had statistical evidence at the time that they were effective, and he greatly downplayed the severity of the virus long after he knew how bad it was.

So tell me, how the Hell did Trump "return America to power and prosperity?" I'd really love to know. Best he did was take us back to the Bush years lmao

only a democrat would consider installing a lifelong politician with dementia, that can't even recite what's on a teleprompter five feet in front of him, is incapable of answering an unscripted question, spouts a bunch of fallacies, and shits himself in front of the pope...

as being "progress"... 🙄

I despise Donald Trump, but Americans have seen a tremendous redistribution of wealth from the lower and middle classes up into the upper class over the course of the past 50 years, and per capita GDP growth has declined by about half in relative terms. It really shouldn't be surprising that even a non-racist person would percieve the US heading in a bad direction.

Of course, the MAGAts' policy supports the aforementioned wealth redistribution and does too little to ameliorate the decline in GDP growth. But the Republicans' trick is convincing gullible people that they're trying to solve those problems. And all that's not to say that the Republicans don't have a racism problem; they certainly do, my point is that it's not all there is to it.
PrincessAwesome · 22-25, F
@BlueVeins Trump is a symptom of the problem, but definitely not the problem. If anything, he's a reminder that if the Democrats don't fight to make America better, then Fascists can very easily take over.

what does 'build back better' imply? let's see... maybe it's code for returning to slavery and forcing black people to do all the heavy lifting. see, it's easy to think of stupid shit.

https://www.history.com/topics/reconstruction/ku-klux-klan
Founded in 1865, the Ku Klux Klan (KKK) extended into almost every southern state by 1870 and became a vehicle for white southern resistance to the Republican Party’s Reconstruction-era policies aimed at establishing political and economic equality for Black Americans. Its members waged an underground campaign of intimidation and violence directed at white and Black Republican leaders. Though Congress passed legislation designed to curb Klan terrorism, the organization saw its primary goal–the reestablishment of white supremacy–fulfilled through Democratic victories in state legislatures across the South in the 1870s. read that last sentence carefully, chump.

It's a misguided slogan because America really has yet to live up to its full potential and at this rate never will.
If progress is going forward then conservative is going backward. And yes they do want to go backward. Some of them want to implement accident religious laws. Not realizing they themselves would be stoned to death first.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@canusernamebemyusername LOL, your view of America without fossil fuels, eh? Enjoy your future.

Sorry I don't have time arguing with stupid...........it appears like all stupid people you must be a liberal / socialist or idiot independent that is nothing more than a liberal with no brain.
That's irrational propaganda. The words of law protect every citizen that's law abiding.
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
Well, it seems like it on first glance, but I don't think it's inherently a White thing because the real hardcore MAGA types are just as hateful to Whites if they're not Christian neocon Sunni lovers. I think it is more a causation correlation. It's not the Whiteness that they think is most important, but the majority of people who hold their ideas are White, so it looks that way.
SatanBurger · 36-40, F
The link between Trump and nationalism is well known, every nationalist that I've seen is very heavily focused on the white race. So yeah probably.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@SatanBurger The link between the insurrectionists and the demonocrat party is well known, as illustrated by these two determined to break up the union.

@sunsporter1649 Well gee, Sporty.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
Even the demographic "great replacement" shit is evidence of their flawed thinking. You can't just take current demographic data, assume it will remain a constant trend, and extrapolate from there.
PrincessAwesome · 22-25, F
Pretty much the only actual policy from MAGA was build a wall to keep out the brown people.
PrincessAwesome · 22-25, F
@Muldoon Trump's ban, because it was based on race. Whereas Biden's ban is based on which countries are infected with covid.
Muldoon · 56-60, M
@PrincessAwesome so, f I put a new label on old news it becomes something new? I beg to differ.
PrincessAwesome · 22-25, F
@Muldoon More like you're lying about new news being the same as old news. Trump wanted to ban all black immigration. Biden wants to temporarily ban immigration from a few African countries with high rates of covid. Calling this the same is just a bad faith attempt at normalizing Trump's racism.
ChipmunkErnie · 70-79, M
Pretty much -- mostly rich, white and Christian (in particular "normal" Christians, none of those weird sects. LOL)
@ChipmunkErnie And by Christian they mean Protestant evangelical usually.
MAGA by never re-electing Trump and getting rid of Biden as well

Zonuss · 41-45, M
Spot. Not everyone who voted for Donald Trump is a racist pig. Yes, I know it may be hard to believe in the midst of all of the media chaos. But it was so overplayed that the left gained some momentum and advantages out of the hoopla. And it won them the election. The bad got mixed in with the good. This happens. Oh well, life goes on. At least now people will not be so quick to make generalizations about other races. Because we are all crazy. Good day. 🙂
