Proving that you can get your AR-15, get into your car, drive to a protest and kill people with impunity—as long as you’re not killing right-wingers all will be well. 😞
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@NativePortlander1970 Thanks for the specifics, apparently some states are backwards enough where armed security doesn’t require a license.

Did he even have a fire extinguisher?
WalksWith · 56-60, F
@DrSunnyTheSkeptic

If the little incel would have stayed home his fugging life WOULD NOT have been in danger.
@WalksWith Exactly.
Welcome to the final stage of fascism.
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow Again, moving the goal posts.
@MarkPaul Lol. Completely screwing up the context you just proved you don't even understand how that expression works. At least you are good for a laugh.🤣
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow You're a joke. And, not a funny one. Do you even have a modern education?
It's disappointing to say the least, but once the victims were only allowed to be called everything but "victims" a "not guilty" verdict was inevitable.
This entire trial was a circus, and honestly seems like a missed opportunity for justice.
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
He was going to be found innocent the moment he stepped in that court room. Not because he is, but because that's how the law works for someone like him.

And importantly, the law works VERY DIFFERENTLY for other people.
Hikingguy · 56-60, M
Welp. Remember…. He is innocent until proven guilty. Remember that one? Plus there were things going on the court that the jurors were witness to that we the public were not. The legal system worked as intended.@CountScrofula
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
@Hikingguy > The legal system worked as intended.

Yeah that's exactly what I'm saying. I'm saying the legal system as intended is a bad system.
@Hikingguy But not the way it would’ve worked for everyone.
Graylight · 51-55, F
Anyone taking bets on how long before a crime with the defense "just like Rittenhouse" takes place?
@QuixoticSoul My concern is the legal system doesn't seem to be equipped to change enough in time before people start using each other as target practice.
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow There are plenty of ways to put a brake on things if they get out of control. And ultimately, the wider picture should not play a role in any single criminal case.
@QuixoticSoul I would argue if things get out of control it is already too late at that point.
MethDozer · M
I figured he would on the homicide charges. But its kinda ridiculous thay he got off on the reckless endangerment charges. He had no good reason to be there with a rifle.
luv2fly352 · 70-79, M
@PresidentJoeBiden I personally have never done this, but, in most, if not all states, if you're transporting a pistol or other legally sold firearm in your vehicle you may do so as long as the weapon is not loaded and the ammo and weapon are stored in separate locked containers located in the car trunk or rear storage area of an SUV so they're out of the driver's reach.
Stopmakingsense · 56-60, F
@MethDozer it's open season on libs!
MethDozer · M
@Stopmakingsense whatever blah, blah, blah mother Hubbard blah. Blah blah
Jury bought them fake ass crocodile tears hook line and sinker
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@ExperienceDLT I didn’t, that was terrible acting - but his claim to self defense was solid nonetheless.
@QuixoticSoul self defense bs the twerp had an assault rifle
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@ExperienceDLT Technically not, but close enough. So? Having a weapon doesn’t mean that you void your right to self defense.
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
Well, good. The kid is a twerp, but what happened was self defense. He shouldn’t be railroaded over politics, or whatever.
@DrSunnyTheSkeptic we "blame him" because he chose to be reckless and stupid. He took an AR-15 riffle to a BLM rally. He went looking for a fight. Had he stayed home, none of this would've happened.
That doesn't mean he's guilty of murder though.🤔 @GohantheThird
@Spoiledbrat fair, but still he shouldn't have been there.
jim44444 · 70-79, M
This proves that if you shoot in self defense then go for the kill. They will not be able to refute your version of the events.
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@jim44444 That’s always been the case. By in today’s highly video filled world it has less of a bearing.
@jim44444 That’s always been so. But clearly whom you kill still makes a difference, too, regardless of circumstances.
Northwest · M
This comes as a shocker. To no one.

Our gun laws and self-defense laws and stand your ground laws, make a conviction all but impossible.
DrSunnyTheSkeptic · 26-30, M
@QuixoticSoul
Can't reply to you there because that pansy blocked me since she can't really think of anything to reply. You don't arm soldiers with semi autos unless they're marksman rifles, you arm them with the full auto version of the AR15 called the M4A1. If you think a semi auto is good for mass shooting you should try a fully automatic weapon.

Also for your info, a 5.56 round would go trough you and would cause less damage than the 20 gauge shotgun that you say is so great, the same shotgun that would turn anyone to mince meat at that close range if Kyle had one.
DrSunnyTheSkeptic · 26-30, M
@MethDozer Fair point.
MethDozer · M
@DrSunnyTheSkeptic cool. So calm the fuck down and breath
DrSunnyTheSkeptic · 26-30, M
@MethDozer I've been calm the entire time... 🤨
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
I leave it to Americans to decide if this is "Justice" and they have. Then I leave it to Americans to decide if they want to remain in a country where that passes for Justice.
But for the non Americans: How many of you want to go live in a $h*thole Country like that today???😷
@whowasthatmaskedman It’s justice to white supremacists. They can punish their own with impunity for supporting BLM.
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@bijouxbroussard Well the Rats have been running the Financial ship for decades now. They bought the government ship our a long time ago. and I believe this is a clear example of the same Rats now being in charge of the legal ship of state. Time to put your life jacket on and proceed to the lifeboats. This is not a drill..😷
Right wingers: can't win in real life so they try to take over the internet instead.
China's Great Firewall is currently looking like the only idea of how to control these fucks online.
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@canusernamebemyusername Control is not required.. Accountability is..😷
Hikingguy · 56-60, M
What is shocking most from the general public and the news media is we are ALL forgetting. Innocent until proven guilty. The prosecution could not prove that.
Our legal system worked as intended.
@QuixoticSoul True. And with a nickname like that you are trying to be a cliche.
OggggO · 36-40, M
@Hikingguy Legally innocent until proven guilty. We're still allowed to evaluate what we see and realize he murdered two men.
@OggggO That is probably why the legal term is "not guilty". Meaning technically the prosecution didn't prove their case (or couldn't effectively) and not that you didn't do it. I mean Al Capone was not just guilty of fudging his taxes.

This country is so backwards it boggles the mind..
Sad and scary but not surprising. It is now open season on anyone who is to the left of Richard Spencer. Because that was a clear signal that you will not face consequences.
SW-User
No worries though…there will be a wrongful death suit…
Kyle won’t make a dime in his life.
Islechris · 56-60, M
Absolute travesty, that jury should be ashamed of themselves.

Stopmakingsense · 56-60, F
Lol lol. The judge and jury just deputized all the conservatives to kill all the protesters, libs and anyone who goes for the gun. Same old America!
WalksWith · 56-60, F
It's not at all surprising, really. The judge made sure it was a kangaroo court.
RodionRomanovitch · 56-60, M
The judge will be happy then.
DrSunnyTheSkeptic · 26-30, M
Woo! Kenosha kid is free!
I can't believe how many people there are here who think he should have been sent to prison. Guess he should've allowed an angry mob kill him instead.
RedBaron · M
No sh*t, Sherlock. You obviously read the news and fallaciously assume that the rest of us don't. But it's only all over the Internet.
Not surprised at all.
SW-User
2nd Amendment rights and the right to self defense scored a victory today!!!
SW-User
@bijouxbroussard He shot four white people in self defense.....one of whom was a pedophile.
@SW-User I’m pretty sure Rittenhouse didn’t know that when he killed him ? Or was he molesting a child when he was shot ?
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@SW-User Being a pedophile does not mean you can or should be shot. Otherwise Representative Lauren Boebert's (R-CO) husband would have been shot long ago.
Human1000 · M
Rittenhouse was overcharged; I believe for political considerations.
MethDozer · M
@Human1000 he was and it's sad because it gives the right wingers another win to gloat about.
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@bijouxbroussard Ironically, had the cops shot him, none would have been charged.
Human1000 · M
@bijouxbroussard Proving intent to kill beyond reasonable doubt is not easy when being chased. I wish there was a "Rittenhouse Law" covering this situation (and the mother too). He should be in prison, but the right law needs to be charged and its elements proven beyond a reasonable doubt.
Tastyfrzz · 61-69, M
He's still a dead man walking.
Justice prevails
