@MethDozer couldn't agree more. Say what you want, there was no good reason for him to be carrying weapons across state lines.

@GohantheThird He had no personal interest there. Again I think a big part of the botching by the DA was going for the homicide charges. It was pretty clear he had a decent defense claim on that part.

@PresidentJoeBiden no, but my brother in law told me once that a man who open carries isn't looking so much to prevent a fight as he is to start one. Kid was looking for a fight, and he got what he wanted.

@PresidentJoeBiden I personally have never done this, but, in most, if not all states, if you're transporting a pistol or other legally sold firearm in your vehicle you may do so as long as the weapon is not loaded and the ammo and weapon are stored in separate locked containers located in the car trunk or rear storage area of an SUV so they're out of the driver's reach.
