What do you think about Kabulshit Biden's $3.5trillion AOC/Pelosi wish list spending plan?

You have to add the $1.2 trillion Infrastructure Pck. and $3 trillion in mandatory entitlements to that total.
But his liberal protege's are still trying to figure out how WE (you and I) are going to pay for all this, and they want re-elected in 2022...
Joe really is enjoying spending your money with his new unlimited credit VISA card
you gave him this past January.

Congress won’t approve that will they?
4meAndyou · F
[@113373,TexChik] Joe Manchin is opposed to the 3.5 trillion.
Driver2 · M
[@113373,TexChik] they better not , but the democrats fall in line like sheep and the republicans don’t fight

Lol. Spent between 8 and 14 trillion on destroying a country most Americans can't find on a map 20 years later but 3 trillion to keep American bridges and buildings from collapsing around your ears is beyond the pale apparently. Interesting priorities.

[@346344,PicturesOfABetterTomorrow] Do you honestly not see that you are doing exactly what you are saying we are doing?

Pics is an example of the Zizek trilemma:

If you are honest and intelligent, you can't be a communist

If you are a communist and honest, you can't be intelligent

If you are intelligent and a communist, you can't be honest

But in Pics' case, he is neither intelligent nor honest, so it is doubly easy for him to be a communist. 😂 😂 😂

Wrong again, Pics. It is all you. 😂

I for one am very happy the government is finally making a serious investment in the nation's crumbling infrastructure and public transit. We need domestic improvements and human services, not wars.
I think the others in the bunker will kick him out into the snow after 10 minutes of his insufferable dithering BS [@1158,jackj]

There is nothing major at all when it comes to you ladies. [@346344,PicturesOfABetterTomorrow] [@1026,LeopoldBloom]
[@1158,jackj] Calling men "ladies" as an insult is misogynistic. Why don't you move to Afghanistan, you'll be happier under the Taliban. No wonder you're screen name is "jackoff."

Payment can be made for the necessary improvements to infrastructure Trump ignored by removing the tax cuts for the wealthy and returning the capital gains tax to reasonable levels. It shouldn't be a big deal and would create lots of real jobs to reduce the job losses under Trump.
I have an idea. How about those that voted for him should pay for it and leave the rest of us out. 😏
jackj · 56-60, M

That’s what I’m saying. Could you imagine if Trump did this? Impeachment, congressional hearings, demands for cognitive tests, literal pitch forks and torches outside the White House. But Biden? Free pass. Again. [@1158,jackj]

What are they gonna do when they run out of other peoples money?
[@494950,sunsporter1649] That will never happen unless you people succeed in turning America into a third world dictatorship.

You radical right wing Republicans always whine about paying for things UNLESS it's for something that you want, like your TWENTY year war in Afghanistan, for instance.
SteelHands · 61-69, M
[@494950,sunsporter1649] I wouldn't call it the same but conservatism these days is not classic conservatism.

It's lucidly aligned with classic morality with the quasi progressive modernist social norms of the 1960s.

However it lacks the understanding that the public discourse is being manipulated by academic ignorance that is configured to redefine an entire lexicon to redefine the Republican party.

There are very few right wing people, and even fewer true conservatives. The Democrats are now becoming the radicalist party. While the Republicans are attempting to be the practicalist party.

Thinking that compromise or reasoning can balance a party force that intends to destroy the entire system only have opened the door to socialism in this country.

It needs to be slammed in their face.
[@494950,sunsporter1649] Apparently, not conservative enough for you people.

whomever it is here that thinks there are American taxpayers that want to waste money on either that porkfest the dems are hoping for now OR a protracted mess in one of the stanz has their head so far up their own backside they probably don't know the difference between a radical extremist and an America first conservative.

I believe both sides should give up this capitalistic control nightmare that been going on since the mid 1940s.

And yes it's both sides that use capitalism for their own control purposes.

[@1165664,theAlchemist] Can you believe that the US government and the president himself actually met with the Taliban to discuss giving them their country back?.......................oh wait, that was Trump in 2020.
SteelHands · 61-69, M
Never kid yourself that any one man, any one leader, can be either the destroyer or the salvation of America.

America doesn't consists of one leader and millions of followers. It consists of millions upon millions of free men that send servants to Washington DC because they're not really useful anywhere else.
Wpadude · 46-50, M
Much like President Trump did, so no wrong or right. Move along, nothing new here, nothing to see.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
I guess you want the US to have the infrastructure of a third world nation? Interesting.

Aww! Thanks for the BC 😌😌😌
A whole 7% if that money is actually going to infrastructure. [@1026,LeopoldBloom]
[@604557,stratosranger] If by "infrastructure," you mean roads and bridges. I think a lot more is going to so-called "hard infrastructure." But if someone can't find day care, having a nice, new road for them to drive to work isn't going to help if they can't leave the house.

Anyway, the infrastructure bill is going to pass as soon as Joe Manchin gets enough pork for West Virginia.
