Absolutely. Also, I feel naked without it 🤭

SnowBlack · 18-21, F
Yes I do. Masks greatly reduce the chance of giving someone else the disease. Where people refuse to wear masks the disease gains ground. This is a fact. If someone says otherwise they're a fool or a liar.

Yes. Yesterday I was visiting a friend who has cancer, is immunocompromised, and can't get the vaccine. It's a minor inconvenience for me but can mean the difference between life and death for someone else. When I go to a store, I always keep that in mind. You never know who might be at risk, especially small children who aren't able to be vaccinated. When I'm outside, alone in my car or home, I don't.
Harmonium1923 · 51-55, M
@SW-User I do the same and mask up in stores or crowds despite having been vaccinated. It seems like a very small sacrifice.
Jake966 · 56-60, M
No masks don’t work against covid
AbbySvenz · F
Sporadically. Most local mandates did not begin until late spring/early summer @Jake966
@AbbySvenz Had a feeling Carlson would somehow make an entrance. This disinformation for political gain really needs to stop. Kids are dying and these morons are using them as pawns.
@Jake966
and it’s been proven that covid molecules are so small that they can get through a mask
and it’s also been proven that covid particles are embedded in droplets, so that trapping the droplets also traps the much smaller covid particles.

But rather than argue theory let's look at the effects of masks.

Duke U studied one million school children and found masks to be pretty effective:

We have to and I do, I don't know how effective the masks 99 percent of us wear are, the n95 masks are the ones which are recommended but most wear plain masks. Some of the masks say right on them they will not prevent the user from covid, but I guess it's better than nothing
@FreeSpirit1 sometimes I forget and wear my bedroom mask by mistake. you should see the looks I get
Northwest · M
Yes, to protect others from Covid. It's a no brainer and I do it by choice, not because I have to.
In our family, we wear masks whenever we go into a store or a crowded place (we are all fully vaccinated).
carpediem · 61-69, M
Sure. I put up a chain link fence to keep mosquitoes out and that worked just as well.
Magenta · F
@carpediem Haha!
FoolishLuna · 56-60, F
It’s a health order here so I respect the safety of others.
Of course. I care about my life and the life of others.
yes I believe they have protected me. I have been to clubs bars trains airplanes boats hotels etc and no covid yet . there was also a case of a group of staff in the company I work catching covid and I worked closely with them yet I think keeping my mask on at all times washing hands frequently and keeping a distance washing my clothes aftrr every shift helped keep me protected . it isn't hard work and you can at least do that for yourself ,vaccinated or not
Spokeskitties75 · 46-50, M
Yes… I wear it if I’m going into public spaces… but not for myself (I’m vaccinated and I’ve not been worried about myself in regards to this virus) but I do care about my fellow humans. Does it suck… yes!! But until this virus is under control, it’s the right thing to do.
StevetheSleeve · 31-35, M
I wear a mask at work and any public place I go. If you avoid getting right in someone's face they protect against the spread of the virus. That said, if vaccination rates were better, masks would probably be a thing of the past by now.
ImRileyTheDog · 22-25, F
When I MUST
Yeah. It is mandatory, and vaccination rates in my city are some of the lowest in my province. I am vaccinated, but I could still become a carrier.
My dad just got out of the hospital, and it makes me nervous about bringing it home from work. Only about half the customers still wear a mask despite public health orders.
HellsBelle · 31-35, F
I seriously do not go out enough to require a mask. Im all drive thru, amazon, and grocery pick up. but thats just introvert life
SW-User
Yeah, even though I’m fully vaccinated 🙃
but then again, I spend lots of time with my mom + I have asthma.
Magenta · F
I couldn't tell you the last time I wore one. Many months ago when it was mandatory to go in a specific place.
SW-User
It’s less that now than respect for other people who are still nervous. At work I don’t have a choice.

If I have a face shield in the truck sure. If I don’t then I just don’t care. Especially since no one provides plastic shields
ravenhill · M
no, i don't bother now, except in my doctors surgery where they still require it.
Yes I do, it isn't perfect, but it does help in protecting others and yourself.
No. i were masks to protect my anonymity.mi I don't give a damn about Covid
smiler2012 · 56-60
{@sharon1] yes it certain places i do
GJOFJ3 · 61-69, M
Yes. Wherever they are required
ViciDraco · 36-40, M
Yes. It's rather a super easy thing to do once you have gotten into the habit.
Azlotto · M
I do. Out of respect for business owners,
I wear a mask everywhere I go outside of my house. Don't know if it helps or not, but that's currently the law, so what the hell.
@LordShadowfire It also shows respect for the health of others so what the hell?
